3 months to wait for that…

They better milk it and promote it a lot… cause i already forgot about the trailer… i’m not to sure if it’s because i was to focused on Celine… but i didn’t get the plot at all and nothing in there (other than celine) was memorable to me 😕

 

To be fair, I’m not a rom-com fan so… The only few i enjoyed were with JLo and thats it.

Trailer got me exited it’s a novie, revolving around Céline and her music, with two characters but Céline is the star getting celebrated here.

The trailer's pretty much exactly as expected - standard rom-com structure with all the usual tropes. But they're used so often because they work - hopefully this will do well, too. Céline actually comes across more natural than I expected, at least in those clips. Probably because the role is so well suited to her existing persona and doesn't require much stretching of her acting muscle...

 

Interesting that only the US trailer features the new song and the remixed IACBTMN, but presumably they'll show up in other trailers soon. Movies always have multiple trailer versions to keep building momentum and to appeal to alternate segments, so I'm sure there'll be more to come, even if primarily just multiple :30 TV spots as the release gets nearer.

Unreleased pictures from the movie! What book is Sam reading?

 

It's "Céline: The Authorized Biography" which was released in November 1997. Written by Georges-Hébert Germain.

Germain unfortunately died of cancer on Nov. 13, 2015. He was the husband of her long-time press officer Francine Chaloult (who unfortunately died last year on May 17).

 

The book is worth reading! It's still available second hand or even new.

I am really looking forward to watching this. I have a feeling that this was the perfect project for Celine. Professionally she based her career on singing about love. Her ballads are epic and always related to love. Personally she lived one of the most amazing love stories ever. I love when she says,'it might be crazy but love doesn't always follow the rules' .I believe that this romcom will be great with her.

That won't happen cause she isn't a good actress, everything is forced and unnatural. If it was going to happen, it would have a couple of decades ago at her peak.

 

Once she will get the right opportunity and I really hope that her health will get better - you will see what I meant. It will be amazing.

Seeing Celine involved in the production of the film, acting, and recording new music is way more than I would have expected.

This new song doesn’t sound exciting, but I hope for PMLALS to be featured on the soundtrack and be released with a music video with clips from the film, like Lady Gaga did with I will never love again. I also need this epic new version of IACBTMN in my life!

 

Also, Celine is so natural, it doesn’t look like she is acting at all! And I love her voice in the French trailer!!! It’s so sensual and beautiful!

If any music videos do come, they’ll likely be just set to clips from the movie- let’s not forget this was all filmed at the height of covid and Celine wasn’t the best with music videos pre-covid. There’s also the chance none were filmed before her health issues arose. I, for one, am more so happy to just see recent-ish footage of her and some new songs.
