Peeps, this thread is for Text For You, not Aline. Too many movies I guess! :P

 

The Aline-related tweets I posted here were specifically in reference to Call My Agent, because this is where I had started the discussion of how great it would be if Celine did a cameo for that show. Good to see I'm not the only one who thought about it and as far-fetched as it is, hope it happens, now that CMA is getting another season, a movie, and a UK remake! :yes:

Well, at the moment it’s just wishful thinking. But knowing this forum, someone will soon call it a “rumour” and later complain when it doesn’t happen. 🙃

I hope so. I remember hearing it was suppose to happen in the first quarter of 2021...it's very strange to hear them dance around the fact in interviews. I feel like Sam/Priyanka actually haven't been with Celine in person. Sam in one interview I think even said, "hopefully it all works out well" or something like that, as if there was doubt or that stuff had yet to be done.

I think they’ve just done virtual table-reads. Highly doubt anything happened in person since she wasn’t traveling.

Yes, it's just weird to hear them in interviews act as though they've already filmed together. Only in a couple interviews did Priyanki let it slip that she hadn't met Celine yet.

I think it was Sam who act as they’ve already filmed with Céline not Priyanka…

I said they as in multiple people. Russell Tovey, Sam. But Priyanka has been more forthcoming in more recent interiews, but in earlier interviews I seem to remember her dancing around it (intentionally or not).

Well Priyanka os huge name here in India, and if she came to promote it here then the film could be a success cause well there a are billions of people who knows here and millions of youth who can watch am English film consisting of her.

 

Its weird how these actors can just lie in front of cameras. They haven't worked with Celine, yet. What will be Celine's hairstyle. Her Vegas long hair? Or Courage era bob cut? I would love to see the bob...more mature to me.

We do it all the time! Haha. That’s what acting is. Rather than lying, in the case of interviews, it’s more like selling the story the suits want us to sell (and have paid us to sell) - like doing a commercial where you say something like, “This product is amazing! I use it every day.” But you’ve never actually used it a day in your life.

 

It’s like how Celine is allowed to get on a stage in front of thousands of people and pretend she’s singing when really she’s just lipping to a track. That’s also “lying.” The entire industry is about lying. People who aren’t in it have no idea.

I guess i didn’t paid much attention to this interview that’s why I forgot only Sam and Priyanka :)

 

And the amazing thing is that you remembered what i have posted before and it was way back in January. I’m amazed (slow clap for you)

I just give back the attitude I'm given. I've noticed you seem obsessed with being right all the time, to the point where you come off as mocking other Celine fans who you think don't know as much as you or who are being stupid for asking innocent questions or making innocent comments about Celine. You were so hungry to correct me that you claimed you "hadn't watched" an interview with Russell that you posted.

 

That's all good if you want to try and correct people, but you do it in a snide and passive-aggressive way with ellipses (....), "LOL" (the way you use it sounds like you are laughing in the face of other fans), and other language that's very distasteful.

It's been VERY quiet from Celine & Team Celine lately.

Last year, she was taking a well deserved break.

 

These days, I assume she's incredibly busy.

Isn't she filming her scenes for this movie right now?

 

On top of that, she's balancing all of the show planning... for the Courage relaunch and the brand new Vegas residency.

 

It feels like she's been away for ages... but there's a lot going on behind the scenes, and we're about to be swamped in Celine content later this year. :)

Doesn’t look like Sam is in Vegas yet, but I suspect it’s happening in the coming weeks.

if she had the manager from Jennifer Lopez, everything she does behind the scenes would be filmed and posted on YouTube. That’s proper promotion.
