Rene had more of that business / promo mindset.

 

Celine is proving to be a bit more reserved & private & mysterious now that she calls the shots.

 

I’m thankful so much was shared with us fans back in the day, but I can also respect Celine’s new way of doing things. I think she enjoys not being told what to do and how to do it. And she knows she doesn’t owe anybody anything.

 

I think her social media / presence across all platforms will wake up once she’s officially back. She’s still in the planning stages right now, and clearly she’s comfortable going off the radar these days. She’s doing a big reset.

Right, it can be frustrating.

Many fan groups of big artists get flustered when there’s long stretches of time with so little content. But it happens. The pandemic didn’t help the situation.

I’m so glad that Celine, for the first time in a long time, was forced to take a big time out. She looked frail in early 2019, and I really think she needed to get away from working / her public image and do some reflection, resting and healing.

 

I’m with you. We all miss her, clearly, but the break and detachment from it all is good. Hopefully she comes back rejuvenated and hungry to perform, that the forced break made her actually miss it. I’m just glad she loves it enough to keep doing it. She easily could have retired years ago.

She just she sings LOL. I'm thinking maybe she does some song-talking (that's what I call it haha 😄) in some scenes. I'm hoping 🤞🤞it also means she's doing the theme song at the end too. Seems silly to use anyone else when Celine is already involved.

Oh yes, it HAS to be Céline. We don't want another singer singing for Céline (as it happens with Aline).

I am excited for Celine to finally get some acting and be around industry people. She has mentioned wanting to do acting for decades, since the start of her career.

 

I am kind of sad it took this long, but, well, she has been quite busy. I think if she didn't have twins after the TCWT she should have taken a year or two and done some acting roles. That was probably the best time for it. Hindsight is 20/20 though, and it's never too late.

 

It is a bit bittersweet to see Lady Gaga get A Star Is Born and Gucci and think what could have been for Celine.
