I feel like we’re going to get multiple things at the same time ; like Vegas / Paris at same time m. Maybe a new album announced ….. but I feel it!

Friday is when you release anything you don’t want picked up. It’s called Friday News Dump for a reason.

Monday is backlog day. Tue/ Wed are generally considered best days to release any news you want to garner attention.

Feeling something doesn’t make it reality. If Céline returned to North America and started making appearances on talk shows, that would be one thing… But it seems she’s slipped back into hermit mode for the time being. Of course that could change any day, but we don’t know what future plans they have in store because we don’t have enough information to make even logical speculation. We just have feelings.

 

My feeling is that another prime-time interview would need to be granted, or even a late night talk show performance with a new song/album to prove she’s ready to hit the stage again. The Olympics was a milestone, proving she’s up for some physically demanding one-off appearances, but sustaining a residency requires a different level of stamina. And we just don’t have any evidence to show that she’s there yet.

Ne-Yo began his residency at Wynn last night and also got the key to the city.

 

He’s also signed to Aeg… do you think there could be a tiny chance that Céline may join him at his show as a one off at some point, to perform their duet ahead of her return?

 

Just seems a bit weird that out of all her duets they recently posted that pic of them both… maybe I’m over thinking but would be great promo at the same time

It’s only been a couple weeks and people are still talking about it: The fact is, Celine confirmed a return to Vegas to multiple sources interviewing her , Hoda confirmed it too. Anyone know when the US talk shows are back? It may be that they are planning to announce shows around that time and for Céline to appear on a few shows to talk about Vegas and, of course, her comeback at the Olympics. I can totally see that happening.

Your today's post exactly proved MY point and not yours as you were announcing the dates before the doc, the doc premiere day, after the doc, before the olympics, the fridays of the olympics and after olympics. I have been saying all along that they won't be announced until such big events finish. But thank you for finally learning from my posts and that you learnt to "give it (finally) some time" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It’s looking more and more like the first quarter of 2025. I hope she’s doing well since her Olympic performance, seems like she’s gone back into a bit of laying low again. Not even a mention lately of the IACD vinyl being released tomorrow the 9th, by her team.

 

I would’ve liked to see a new chapter open already after all the Olympic buzz. I really thought the timing was going to be strategic but let’s be real it’s team Celine after all, so I think we gave them too much of the benefit of the doubt, they can’t even be bothered to release an official track or video from the opening ceremony.

Not Celine related but I see Rod Stewart has extended his residency into 2025.

 

His schedule for Vegas is ideal. According to wiki the residency has been going since 2011 and he’s done just over 150 shows in that time. That’s a great way to do it. A small enough number of shows to allow other projects but enough shows to call it an ongoing residency. Best of both.

He was asked "what's next?" and "Vegas?" in all the post-Olympics interviews, and of course said things like "nothing is confirmed", "I'll probably find out when you all find out", etc. Which clearly he would say, but the way he phrased things really seemed like he's just happy to see her doing well and at this point doesn't know if/ when she'd be capable of more.

If Vegas is really going to happen, everything is already in place, planned dates just need to be announced.

But if there is no show coming in the future, nothing will happen.

That was exactly what I thought it really seemed like he knew nothing. So how can you set dates if your conductor does not know I mean I hope you don't just expect him to drop everything the minute you ask him and the dates have already been set, he could have other commitments.

I think with Céline’s condition, it’s definitely going to be announced a lot closer to the actual date than would be customary. Didn’t Scott say that, even though they were informed about Céline’s performance at the Olympics during the spring, she didn’t give a definite confirmation until within a month of the performance? Heck, she could even announce it a couple days in advance and it would still sell out. I honestly wouldn’t rule out November/December for Vegas, with an announcement probably in September, or even as late as October. Also, I wasn’t one to believe in Céline doing Easter eggs but this year changed my perception, I’m now certain that the robe she wore in the Eiffel Tower that said Céline 2024 (and that she purposely showed to the camera) is a hint.

I think it could potentially still be on the cards for this year but as totally dependent on her health status, it probably wouldn’t be announced too soon, as has been discussed. I also believe the ‘Celine 2024’ purposely shown to the camera has gotta mean something. Especially after the ‘Celine Paris’ Easter Egg.

 

Well at least I sure hope something’s coming as I’m itching for her next performance or appearance. This past couple of months has definitely made me catch the Celine bug again, after all the time of silence.
