I think people are reading way too much into stuff . She literally just said this summer pre and post Olympics she’s working on a new show. And she’s back BUT it takes time and therapy. Be patient. It has not been that long.

Exactly. Plus she may be busy for all we know. If the rumours of new albums are true she may be focusing on recording. As you say she clearly stated she was still having vocal therapy too.

I don't think expecting "more" or "too much" are the correct words, because it implies there is something to start with. Which is not the case.

 

Again, it's not blaming Céline. That she hasn't embraced social medias is a choice we can't judge ( although from my opinion, a weird one for an artist but well, just my 2 cents).

 

But it's her team which is either "special" or restrained from Céline herself.

 

If she has been working on anything, why there's never even a picture ? In studio, a meeting, whatever..

 

And to be honest, most of the times she writes something, it's when someone dies... it's gloomy.

I don't blame Celine, I blame her team, they have a lot of material they could post and don't tell me it's because of copyright or some crap like that. For whatever reason there's just no interest, period.

I think the thing that hawks me off the most is that (now that we know to the extent of how bad Celine's SPS symptoms were) Platel et. al. didn't do crap for the fans. They knew. They could have gotten the team to get in the vault and either release things via YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc. or actually piece together releases which, let's face it, would have sold during the interim during Celine's illness. Look at the MHWGO videos they put together (both the live and music video Celine cut). They both have had amazing numbers because it's stuff we haven't seen before. That's really all they needed to do to sate the fans during this long break.

Agreed. Let’s take for example that half climax of my heart will go on that was shown in the documentary, they obviously have more from whatever day that was, and if we’re to judge by what we have, she sounded great there, so why not release it?

I would love another trip to NYC but at the same time a Vegas residency is more intimate and they know how to really stage a show in Vegas

I think it would more likely be a residency in the Brooklyn theatre not MSG. Unless she does a couple comeback shows in MSG. Maybe similar to Adele in Munich.

She can probably sell 8-10 nights out at MSG, since she did do like 3 nights at Barclay’s and 2 nights at Newark I think… but might as well just do two stadium shows and be done with it…. Who knows

I don’t mind the Vegas summers as I enjoy the pools… and heat lol… however, many of us go to Vegas during the extreme cold winter months to escape the weather even for a week. Also, a lot of people prefer to NOT partake in the Vegas 115 degree F temperatures.

It would make sense if NYC is on the table, to do NYC in the summer (kids out of school) and Vegas in the Winter/school months.

But if she is going anywhere else besides Vegas to perform, I would prefer some French shows please. In Montreal, Quebec City, Paris…. S’il vous plait!!

I think it was last week that the album rumours were also being told by a music store in Paris.

 

The 1 hour shows rumours have been on the internet before.

 

The movie is something new. A new movie about her life? Or celine in a acting role?

 

If those 1 hours shows would be true, you think they adjust ticketprices for it? Or would they get away with the high prices these days for a 1 hour show?

That’s what I’ve been thinking from the beginning. Either a special show like those CBS ones she used to do back in the day or at least a few talk show performances. Anyway, big things are on the horizon, the silence is telling.
