If they do end up canceling, it would be wonderful if they released it as a Netflix concert / documentary. Might end up being a blessing in disguise, if her goes about promoting is properly. It could potentially be a big success like the Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, or Lady Gaga Netflix documentaries.

 

The Courage world tour is basically a greatest hits tour, so it would please the masses. And the show is super sleek and modern which will be great for Celine’s image. Also, releasing it on Netflix could feed into bumping up the album sales / streaming too.

 

But who knows... Celine and her team might not chase those kinds of releases anymore because it might interfere with future ticket sales. If you can watch Celine at home, why buy a ticket? Celine’s all about the concerts these days.

I don't think any of the shows were professionally filmed for a full concert release (or am I wrong?)... footage with less camera angles are of course possible in a documentary..

I guess only the first concerts were “kinda” professionally filmed, we can noticed that they have used some footage for promotional stuff at the beginning, but that as concert I don’t think could be a good idea coz she started the tour with that infection.. probably all the concerts were filmed but I don’t think there was any professionally record

Were you seriously thinking any tour of any artist would continue this year? It will take place somewhere in 2022 I think, and completely cancelling, I do not see that happen because there is way way too much money involved. We just have to wait until 2022 when it is all safe again. At least let us hope it will be safe again.

It would be cool if her team would release everything Courage related that is left in the vault now during pandemic, and then make a totally fresh start with new material and new music. It wouldn’t make sense to still milk Courage in 2022.

Yes it wouldn’t make sense but I expect her to do just that - relaunch the greatest hits tour again so there is as minimal efffort to rehearse the tour and just resume the already successful formula.

During her 2018 tour I thought Netflix was going to happen, her socials posted some rare clips backstage. But it's already a long time ago.

 

I don't think we will ever see some professional stuff from 2016 till now.

There js a great FAN DVD on YT. They should release the professional filmed concert (Quebec) on Netflix and DVD. Because I don't think they will continue the tour this year and Celine will start her new Vegas show in 2022/2023.

I'm sure Celine was very bummed out in 2020... because her tour had to be halted, the devastation surrounding Covid-19, the loss of her mother, and all of that lawsuit drama. Glad to know she at least has the filming of Text For You to look forward to.

 

It makes sense that she wants to finish the tour... She wants to fulfill her contract and she knows it's important for her image / legacy to tour instead of always being stationary. It would be a shame for her to go back to Vegas before getting the chance to tour more of the world again. But that could very well be how it all unfolds.

 

Regardless, I think her Vegas tickets will sell like hotcakes once it's safe to attend concerts again. People will be hungry for live entertainment, and I'm sure the higher ups in Vegas want Celine Dion to be at the forefront of rebuilding the strip post Covid-19.

If there’s any reason not to release could be her voice on those concerts but to be quite honest I don’t think her team is thinking about any release:/

I just hope they can make some announcement soon so we could know if the tour will happen, will be next year.. many fans need months to plan everything, specially for a long trip like mine could be (im in Brazil right now). So I just hope they can say something soon..

That’s why i liked when Aldo was with her, I think it was her first time really active on social media... and I think it was coz of him, we had livestream, lots of videos and a mini doc for French tv in 2016

My point of view: she needs someone like him managing the main things coz if looks like “empty” now, we don’t even know if she has a manager (guess not) just a team
