I find the Courage Music Video a creative one. She never done that style. The 3 lightings keeps on changing and the way the camera moves. Perfect.

I hope that was a joke. Imperfections was better. The montage of courage is messy. They could have made something much better.

I enjoyed the black-and-white color scheme and stripped down concept. But yes, you're right, it only made sense to me for Imperfections. Courage, she needed a video with flames and red....like her album cover but in video form!!

 

That was what the song called for, and it would have been great for artistic cohesion and promotion.

Both videos were amazing. Courage is amazing, and we see 100% Celine in it, no random people or scenes. Kudos for that idea and the concept of the video! I like the play with the light. It’s really beautiful and captures the song and its mood very well.

 

Imperfections, although a montage of her tour interlude videos, is one of my favourites. Great scenes, very esthetic and fits the song so very well! Love the different scenes and her in the pool. The only thing I would change is the stupid bun in scenes in which she sings as well as the black garbage bag that she wears, but well, we can’t have everything The white dress is so much better, but it doesn’t appear that often

The montage is disappointing. The transitions are weird (at 2:54 for instance) and in the refrain and moment suprême (1.45) you expect something moving but it is just her dancing away from the camera and it does not match with the refrain. It is just a shadow figure doing arm movements. And that is what we see the whole time - Celine sitting or walking around doing graceful arm movements. It is boring and this video lacks a concept and poorly execution of those ideas. This is her worst video in my opinion. Badly filmed. Zooming in and out of her should have been smooth but It looks as it was done with a compactzoom. Not the kind of level I expect from a superstar. Could have been way more.

Imperfections was better and is very avant-garde, courage tries to be avant-garde as well but the execution, montage, ideas..it is a no from me, for sure. And hope the last black & white video.

I don’t think it was made for the music video. It’s obviously for the visuals for the tour. Especially, the water scene which can also be seen in the intro of MHWGO for the tour

I'm not sure which visuals specifically you are referencing in her 1-2 hour show. But I would be shocked if they didn't film all those bits together at the same soundstage over the span over a few days to a week or two.

The running scene with a blindfold on. You can definitely see that on the tour. There are so many scenes in the tour (led) backdrop that can be seen on the Imperfection Music Video

What that baffles me is that her last fashion video clips have more creativeness then the last two videos together.

It seem that they only had budget for LD, but with some creative mind and vision they could do lovely videos.

What is the point to put things out without to make them special, especially for the Imprefection song which is still my favorite.

 

I find it hard to believe that Celine won't write a message regarding this holiday, happy holiday everyone!
