I just looked at my quote down on my signature, the one about just one bold move to change everything. I love this line from LD! I wish she would take that one bold move. This tour is feeling like it IS all about the money......and I've NEVER felt that way about her before.

I do wonder what Scott's involvement is when it comes to the set list? In my mind surely a musical director should be saying things like "You're The Voice worked for our Australia tour and that special moment on stage with John but now it's time to let it go." Also "Me and the band have been working on incredible arrangements for Change My Mind and Say Yes if you'd like to hear them"

 

The set lists are obviously discussed before each and every show and Celine will obviously have the final say but it would be so good to know if ANYBODY is suggesting to her the things that we are such as less covers and more songs from Courage. We can't be the ONLY people to see the problem can we?

He should say: we will be doing this, we ain't going to do that and if Céline really really really wants to sing BATB or YTV again, then those songs should be below on the list, in favour of new songs or old hits that haven't been played for so long. Great TP and Imperfections were added, but FOMO and LD should be there instead of TP and YTV.

 

ALSO this show is in desperate need of dancers!!! I don't understand now "an artistic director" Pepe who is a dancer at first, didn't endorse that!! They left her all alone on that huge stage with catwalks that are not used like they should.

 

But again, I don't get Céline in this either; during that interview with Gayle she doesn't blink twice about which songs she doesn't want to sing anymore: ALL OF THEM! On that BBC Radio she said she loves SLS but she never performs it, IT'S YOUR DAMN SHOW!! SING IT!! (I know this is completely opposite of what I just wrote ) 5 old songs are enough: TPOL, BYLM, IACBTMN, MHWGO and IA. That's it! FINI! The rest should be exciting new songs, old hits or fan favs! SPICE IT UP!

 

With Taking Chances they never took chances and with Courage they don't have any of it! Sometimes I want to slap Céline silly for her non logical approach to her setlists.

Sorry. it is so frustrating that she makes us believe something completely new is on its way and in reality it is the same old setlist on a modern stage. Because that is new and it looks nice, that stage. but that is all there is.

Honestly, I'm not feeling the live arrangement that much... it's probably because of the brass section. Because of that, it's losing the "modern" sound of the studio version. Brass instruments are not commonly associated with modern songs.

I wish they take out the brass during that song. It's like they are trying to incorporate the brass in every song, when you don't necessarily have to.

for a reason they added Imperfection to the setlist

Me thinks they saw the song kept flying on its own in the charts and they started to feel shame,

"Hey this song doesn't want to die on the charts damn it, what a shame we must to add it now to the setlist!"

 

I think that BYLM is out of the setlist as well, Thanks God!

But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be replace with other song.

 

Overall, it seems that something holds them back or maybe they are holding back each other,

since final word is by Boss Celine. LOL and that's how the magic happens and they are coming with this mishmash setlist

that doesn't hold any vision or creativity behind it almost 3 months into this Tour.

 

I want to believe they didn't make much changes to setlist for those shows in Montreal

because they thought it won't be fair for the people that saw the concerts while the stupid embargo

on new-additional songs was still there, but they did added Imperfections to make the crowd up

because the way this Tour started in Canada.

 

I'm not justifying this disrespectul setlist, just trying to get their kind of... strange logic

 

So once again, let's all keep on waiting... just like it was with the FOMO single, just like it was with Imperfection...

and let's see what happens in Chicago where one can hope they will add at least more 4 new songs

and bring some old gems into the setlist just like they promised.

There is nothing courageous about it and more chances were taken with Live2016 (Une fille quatre type songs) Live 2017 (Refuse to dance, Love is all we need, Misled, Le ballet) or Live 2018 (string medley). Courage album songs are AMAZING and it deserves more than 2 songs in the setlist. And bring some other well-known hits like ANDHC. I think everyone is tired of Love can move mountains by now...."

So mad, i had written a long message to celine dion Facebook messenger. Cause if you click on the facebook logo of her website it brings you to her FB website (not app) and the option to write messages is “available” but its not really. Cause when i sent the message, a exclamation point appeared.... then 5 minutes later the conversation just completely disappeared. I had written a lonnnng message and there is no way i can retrieve it.

Pretty much agreed with the person who wrote that post. For some reason I don't like her FB group much

but if that would help and her team will listen then it's worth trying:) I will go and look for that post

I also want to contact them. Because I wrote to the Paleo festival (on facebook) to ask when and where we could buy pre-sale tickets, and they told me "write to tickets@paleo.ch". I wrote an e-mail and they answered "write to Team Céline" ahah. But I don't know how.....
