I'm surprised i actually really like this performance. Not a fan of Imperfections but this is suprisingly good.

 

PS: The best part is there's no chance she might strain or struggle on this song.😉

Good article in LaPresse this am. They mention at the end that seats are still available at “all” her Montreal concerts. Perhaps 6 shows was overkill. They also mention that she sang Courage and Imperfections. No LD or Fomo. Honestly, as much as I’m not a fan of lipsynching, this is the Courage tour and I’d much rather she lip them the the stupid disco medley.

 

One funny fact, the Dionnessence is not being well received in Quebec. The article begins with; you think Celine is talked about too much? Her outfits discouraging? She makes a fool or herself in interviews? So be it. But go see her in concert and...

Yes, but I still would not mind in they were lipped. I’ve been a fan forever and have seen her in concert a gazillion times. I’d love to hear a different concert from her...

For Imperfections, I hope they add some backing tracks in "Give it up Give it up....." It's a bit weird singing that line on her own but in studio there are layers of vocals on that part. You know just to sound full and add more bass.

What is the point to have the new songs lipped?

 

Some songs don't work for her and if she struggles, those should be remove from the setlist

and her team is wise enough to do it.

 

She has other wise vocals on this album, mid uptempos and the slowers tunes

She said on one new interview to the UK press

that they will add new songs, the question is when that's going to happen:)

I think she replaced LD with one of the best on the album without even damaging her voice... and my ears.

I actually love it when she attempts difficult vocals as, at least sometimes, she nails them. She’s known for her incredible voice and it’s one of the main reasons why people go to her shows. She can’t just sing easy songs.

I personally prefer big production, energetic shows for Céline like A New Day..., TCWT or even this tour. I don’t really like stripped-down, intimate shows where she doesn’t change outfits. I think it’s mainly because Céline is known as a classy vocalist who sings ballads and, therefore, I like it when they do a big production to compensate for that.

 

Therefore, I love this tour despite its imperfections.
