I mean its been nearly 3 weeks since the last QC show, it seems like we wont be getting anything for those shows

 

We will definitely get box scores for the show at some point.

Ticket sales are so manipulative.

 

I really like the way cleveland did their tickets. It's a little strange you have to download their app, but all their tickets are sold at face value. No platinum scam that ticketmaster did. I got front row for 219 after fees, grand total. Their fees are less than ticketmaster and their resale marketplace is thru them too. I am shocked at how much better this is than ticketmaster.

 

Ticketmaster has a habit of holding seats hostage at insane prices until shortly before the show.

How much did the most expensive Paris tickets cost?

 

650€ for VIP, 450 for Platinum 1, 225 for regular price.

Romania will most probably be similar and the venue as originally announced in the media.

The ticketing prices should be the same everywhere or as close as they can be given difference in areas etc. It’s disturbing how much some of us have paid for tickets near to the front when others are paying a fraction of the price.

 

The worst I’ve seen personally is over $500 difference between one of my Brooklyn tickets & the row in front of it, ie my 3rd row was $500 more expensive than the row in front.

 

I’m happy to pay a decent price for a really good seat .. I just hate that hours later, I see a better one for $$$$ or ££££ different!!

Well, that's dynamic pricing for you!

 

And prices across geographies will never be the same. It's all different promoters, and whatever they charge on top of Celine's fee is their prerogative. Depends on all sorts of factors - perceived demand and willingness to pay in that geography, their marketing spend, venue, etc.

Nothing new per se, but this is from a CBC journalist.

Ottawa shows confirmed on, no opening act, Celine expected on stage at 8:10.

I don't expect any major changes to the set list seeing as the band still seems to be on break/ probably flying in tomorrow (which happens to be Thanksgiving Day, so a national holiday in Canada.)

 

So she will be on stage tonight in Ottawa.

 

No, not tonight. First show is two days from now.

And tomorrow is a national holiday. Wonder if she's going to do a Thanksgiving dinner with the crew.

Expecting probably 2 or 3 french songs cut, she never normally does her full “french” set in Ottawa however I wont be surprised if it is the QC setlist, but it does make me wonder then how in 2 days she will be onto the full English show...

We got most of the dates in the end though, via Pollstar - I think they are all in Wikipedia now actually.

 

If not, I have the touring history for Celine from Pollstar which has them and can share that if need be.

 

I suspect we'll get the box scores in batches and not as the shows happen.

 

If I remember correct, all of Africa, Japan, and many European dates were still absent.

 

Please do share if you don't mind I really like those numbers and statistics!

The fact that they rehearsed 40 songs for this tour makes me think that we still have 15 songs to be revealed by the English setlist as only 25 have been performed yet. I’m guessing at least 5 of those will be from the new album while some will be obvious choices such as “Because You Loved Me”, “Ashes”, “That’s the Way It Is” and “Love Can Move Mountains” (maybe also “I Drove All Night” and “To Love You More”).

 

I also have a sneaky feeling we could get “Water from the Moon”, “Dreamin’ of You”, “Somebody Loves Somebody” and “Taking Chances” on this tour.

I feel the same. I paid $900 for 9th row (Brooklyn) but just before they put the third Brooklyn show up for sale I saw that 4th row tickets were only $600. When show 3 went on sale to the general public, all the floor seats for shows 1 and 2 mysteriously disappeared.

 

So I’m going to wait and get a ticket for show 3 much closer to the date.

What is so horrible about it? Apart from the fact that it contains quite a lot of covers, it’s a pretty amazing moment in the show. Also, a vocal highlight.

 

Do people not remember the Taking Chances tour? It had the Queen medley and the soul medley and “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World”! Nobody seemed to complain that much back then. How could people stand the horrible “We Will Rock You” but not “Another One Bites the Dust” or “Let’s Dance” which are A LOT better.

I absolutely hated the TC medley as well. I don't like when she thinks that people want to hear some random covers (well, at least I don`t, that`s for sure). The only thing im hoping disappears is you're the voice. It was fine in austraila. Even at first in vegas afterwards...but the 2018 tour should not have featured this song. And this tour being a bigger scale also should not. Too many new songs. Too many hopes for her own catalogue. I quite enjoy the cover medley, but that should be enough cover.

 

Maybe you're the voice is just featured in french shows to hold back English surprises for that time. One can hope.

Ugh that would make me feel sick!! I had to get my sister to get my US tickets on her card as I’m in the UK & it wouldn’t allow me to buy .. so she’s pretty peeved about the whole situation too. I am paying her for my tickets by the way

 

The whole wait & see thing is hard .. but I hate that it feels like so many of us are being ripped off for being keen!!

O don't see her taking this medley nor YATV out, since if she "just wanted to fill out" these first shows with Courage tracks added later on the more plausible choice would be to fill out her French show with French tracks instead.

I do not think she will skip the david Bowie song for instance because there is a lightplan and videoprojections are involved especially created for this part.

You’re the Voice. I still can’t get over it being there this time around. I don’t get the problem with a medley of well known hits. As far as I can tell when in attendance at any previous Celine show or anyone’s concert for that matter when the artist sings covers, the crowd always go wild.

 

I will admit though that YTV needs to go, it’s more than enough now. It should have been a special moment purely for the Australian shows and that’s all.
