AdrienneM Posted October 14, 2019 at 08:30 PM Posted October 14, 2019 at 08:30 PM Not just that, it's simply sick and evil. They say "it's the first time she will go to this countryso they are "hitting the iron while it's still hot" and rob the hardcore fansthat for sure are all in ecstasy for her visit. The most sad thing that could happen to me and I'm surefor many others, is that this robberymanaged to took out all the joy I had to see her in a concert.I know that this robbery will just get worst for the other concertsshe will have in the future. I mean... i think many fail to realise, for an artist of her stature, the demand she has, how much it costs for promoters to pay for her and her team as well as general costs surrounding her... these prices are as low as they can be. For renting a whole stadium alone its tens of thousands of dollars if not more, then costs of the stage, her booking fee, paying for flights, paying for promotion etc.. its millions. 1 Quote
nuts2you Posted October 14, 2019 at 09:18 PM Posted October 14, 2019 at 09:18 PM I wonder what her rider must consist of. that interview had me laughing so hard, that I fell on the floor Quote

Yes, I'm aware to all this stuff but they can have a bit more normal prices and it won't cause someoneto lose his job or something. I'm sorry but those prices come out of greediness. Each time they SEE they can get those prices higher and they get away with it so why notto do so? As I see it, they have been exploiting the love and the big admiration of the hardcore fans like never before. sarit_celine Posted October 14, 2019 at 10:19 PM Posted October 14, 2019 at 10:19 PM Oh and no wonder producers can't bring her to Latin America with these pricesthey ask for the tickets. 1 Quote "Needed in the chaos and confusion, from the plains to City HallNeeded where the proud who walk the wire are set to fall"
AdrienneM Posted October 14, 2019 at 10:29 PM Posted October 14, 2019 at 10:29 PM Yes, I'm aware to all this stuff but they can have a bit more normal prices and it won't cause someoneto lose his job or something. I'm sorry but those prices come out of greediness. Each time they SEE they can get those prices higher and they get away with it so why notto do so? As I see it, they have been exploiting the love and the big admiration of the hardcore fans like never before. Prices go up because the value of money is going down. Simple, as well as the increase in cost for everything else, these have to increase accordingly. If they dont make at least the entire cost of the show PLUS at least 30-40% profit, they lose money... ALOT of it. If they charge very little they cant pay promoters and cant make a profit for themselves. Its hard to fully understand but if you really think and look over it, it makes sense completely Quote
celinefanonline Posted October 14, 2019 at 11:49 PM Posted October 14, 2019 at 11:49 PM for the setlist , u can't really blame Scott that much as it's pretty much Celine's decision... 1 Quote Courage don't you dare fail me now!
Del Posted October 15, 2019 at 12:17 AM Posted October 15, 2019 at 12:17 AM (edited) for the setlist , u can't really blame Scott that much as it's pretty much Celine's decision...You know while many aren't happy with the setlist I can say that while there would have been things I'd have changed, I accept that I can't fuss over a setlist I don't have control over. Once at the show the audience gave such energy that you get involved and have a great time. After the show one of my friends told me that she was expecting to go see the show and have Celine come out sing her songs and that was it. She however was not prepared for the fire that Celine was in stage, the energy of the audience and the ambiance. For me all that together adds so much to a show. The funny thing is she was singing The Reason, and the word "devil" is in the song! "I made a deal with the devil for an empty IOU." She was close lol 6 Quote
scielle Posted October 15, 2019 at 04:06 AM Posted October 15, 2019 at 04:06 AM Seeing as the band just flew in to Ottawa this PM (and I suspect she just got there as well, or is en route), I expect no material changes from the Quebec City playlist. Quote

I don't think they'll rehearse the new songs two days before the album is released. That said, I hope that at least Imperfections is added tomorrow. I've always found it very annoying that she never sings enough songs of her new material. Of course, she's not gonna perform 16 songs of her new album, but 4,5 is not enough, after all, the tour is called "Courage". I'd be happy with like 22 songs being 10 new and the rest hits/old gems/ covers (if she likes). It's not impossible. When she did Taking Chances tour, no more than 5/6 songs were performed each concert from the album, and in the french ones, she perfomed only one from D'elles! Last french tour she only did 4/5 songs from EUS. Edited October 15, 2019 at 04:47 AM by Ncarbia 1 Quote

Of course they have. About 40, reportedly. But my point is there won't be a lot of time tomorrow to do much more than an extended sound check (they may in fact only be loading in tomorrow, since the venue was probably closed today for Thanksgiving, and that'll likely take up much of the day). 1 Quote
AdrienneM Posted October 15, 2019 at 09:15 AM Posted October 15, 2019 at 09:15 AM Im not particularly worried about the sales of these concerts in particular, im sure she’l do very well. Theres one date that concerns me however; Louisville. Over 2,300 tickets left and theres 7 days till the show itself.. that’s slightly worrying to me Quote

Alex_Incognito Posted October 15, 2019 at 06:09 PM Posted October 15, 2019 at 06:09 PM If people are expecting major setlist changes tonight, I fear they will be greatly disappointed. Heck, even for the US part of the tour I'm not expecting too many changes. For me, next Saturday in St.-Louis will be the very first time I've seen her do an English concert outside of Vegas. Before I'd only ever seen Montreal or Paris. So for this I am quite excited! 6 Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990
