Does anyone know for sure if the new (English setlist) will debut in Ottawa,Canada or Cleveland,USA???

During the Taking Chances Tour, the Ottawa show was a mix of the French setlist and the English setlist. I’m 99.9% sure the English setlist will debut in Cleveland.

This song makes me cringe. The production in the studio version feels like someone trying to copy the latino sound in the late 90ies...

 

And it's interesting she performs a song not on the main album.... imagine if she'd do Just Walk Away 😍 or Map To My Heart on the Eng leg. She won't though.

 

 

 

 

This song makes me inconfortable. I hate it. If you re French and obviously understanding the lyrics you can’t like it. Especially if you re above 13 years old.

At the production is at the same level of the lyrics.

 

That s effectively the less known song. She choose her worst French song in history. Haha.

I think the tour calendar somewhat suggests differently. There's 10 days berween montreal and ottawa. But then cleveland immediately after ottawa. I think the break is to transition from the start of the tour and to the new english setlist. I can't see them breaking ten days to do two shows with the bilingual setlist then switching to new one in cleveland. Not to mention ottawa isn't nearly the bilingual province people are pushing it to be....i will say i hope you are right because im there for cleveland and want that premiere experience again. Guess time will tell.

Taking chances tour only had 5 french songs for Ottawa which is about three less than the normal 8 she did on tcwt. This time around probably less because i bet last time in ottawa the english songs had better reception.

 

As lazy as they are now about the setlist i can't see them having a third setlist (mixing what they did in qc/montreal with cleveland and beyond).

 

There may be more than one french song but i honestly think with the ten day break before Ottawa it will be the start of the english shows. I think with the inclusion of more English songs in Ottawa there will not be be anything left in Cleveland not yet debuted on the tour in ottawa.

 

But with me attending cleveland I'd love it to be that show starting but i honestly think its ottawa. Lol. The timing of the 10 days is the biggest reasoning.

Considering they will keep Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore as the only french song for the English shows I think they will change the 9 others french songs by That's the Way It Is, I Drove All Night, Imperfections, Because You Loved Me, Ashes, The Reason, Think Twice, Recovering and To Love You More.

 

As for Lady Marmalade in the uptempo medley I think she will simply sing the English version instead of the French version.

 

I really hope I'm totally wrong but that's just a feeling I have.

Wow!! That actually worked great in the lower key with the acoustic guitar!

 

The crime is shortening PQTME in any French show, she sang it beautiful tho like that I wish she’d do it in its entirety.

She looks stunning & sounds lovely. She’ll get better & better as she gains more confidence with this new tour.

 

There aren’t many singers in this league to compare her to. She sounds lightyears better than Mariah these days and, sadly, Whitney’s voice was gone by her early 40s. Celine’s doing just fine.

I have a feeling we might see another acoustic medley with rare songs In The English setlist; I think that’s are only chance for a rare section otherwise we already know we will most likely almost certain get these in place of the French songs:

ASHES

TLYM ( they won’t waste that new playback lol)

TTWII (Most likely and it deserves to be there honestly)

I don’t think she’ll include Recovering, it’s message is too similar to “Courage” no need to have both, and “Courage” is faaaaaaar superior.

 

I hope we can at least get a full version return of ANDHC that song deserves it moment still after 16 years it’s that good. I’d rather see the Radio Remix but hell at this point I’d take the ballad better than nothing at all!

There are some serious problems regarding the new place for the show in Israel

most people who will go there will be casual fans and won't care much for that

and rather be happy that she will come.

 

I hope she will have here a press confress. Her friends from Celilnununu sitting here

will sure meet her as well.

 

As for the show, the show It's outdoors, insane high humid by the time she will do her show,

and her voice won't sound there good, giving it's outdoors and it's the shittiest place for performances.

People would always complain they couldn't

even understand what the singer was singing.

 

Celine deserve a better place for her first concert here.

The original stadium for her show was way better, but that's what happen

when the producer of the show here is nothing but greedy.

I was right about my feelings, the producer behind this show is the same one who brought useless JLO and

BonJovi to Israel.

 

I'm not going to let all this to upset me. I'll just cherish the moment, when time comes,

when the greatest female artist to ever walk this earth will be giving here a show.

I don’t know what others think but I have a feeling this tour is going to be really long! She isn’t in Vegas now and isn’t rushing to have a break to have babies. If she has a show on the road that works for her, she may keep going longer that TCWT. She may have longer breaks in between.
