Courage World Tour - EU shows CANCELED

I don't know what others think but I have a feeling this tour is going to be really long! She isn't in Vegas now and isn't rushing to have a break to have babies. If she has a show on the road that works for her, she may keep going longer that TCWT. She may have longer breaks in between.

She loves to perform so who knows

I think you're right. I've seen it said 2 years somewhere, though who knows how real that was.

But I expect it last, and I expect it to morph. She's clearly in an experimenting mode, and I think she'll try out a bunch of things so the set list as it stands now is not what it's going to be a year from now (and I don't just mean from the Fr/ Eng perspective)

And we don't have less this time...so it might be it.

France

Ireland

Italy

Poland

The Netherlands

UK

Danmark-Norway-Sweden-Finland

Czech Republik

Romania

Croatia

Chyprus

Germany

Switzerland (?)

Why put Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland as one? I dont think switzerland was there either. And the thing with TCWT was that she did multiple unnecessary concerts in one place, she learned her lesson since

Hi,

I've just listened the 3 first shows. For sure, her vocals keep going better. But it's still not as good as it could be.

I really think she hasn't vocally trained for 3 months. I also think she hasn't made enough rehearsals the days before these concerts... She's forgotten some lyrics of French sings, has forgotten the tones... Too bad...

Her last vocals in London were super good because it was just after the concerts in Vegas.

I'd like to go back to 2017, during the summer tour. Her voice was so much better...

So I hope it will be better in 2/3 months... But i'm kind of sad she can't realise that by herself...

And you, what do you think ?

Thanks

I really want her to go to Jamaica and Africa. It won’t benefit me in the slightest but she was loved so much there in the past.

That and in somewhere as warm and humid as Jamaica her vocals will be on point

Does everyone remember when she was in Jamaica? The fans were so loud we could hardly hear her. It would mean so much to those fans if she visited there. I suppose it’s hard when you are a worldwide artist to make everyone happy.

I saw her in 2017 in the U.K. and a part of me hopes she performs other places like Spain, Africa and other countries she has not been to in years before coming to the U.K.

I dont think id ever heard a crowd lose it like that. Even non-hits they knew EVERY word and she would get applause for simply breathing

Expressing being displeased IS sharing an oppinion.

As far as insult go, I personnaly didn't insult anyone. You feel that condescending tones come from the nay-sayers mostly. That's your oppinion. Mine is that grumbling about negative comments being disrespectful is as much condescending, cause you try to act as a white knight of righteousness and kindness... But it's really equivalent.

I’m all about opinions, negative or positive. What I’m not about is spamming the forum with incessant repetitiveness. It’s highly annoying, disrespectful to other members who are trying to read and also against forum spam policy. I’m not saying YOU specifically either, so please don’t think that. Even when someone tries to calmly say “Ok, we get it. Let’s please get back on topic.” There’s still disrespect and a level of defense that doesn’t need to be.

The languages of Switzerland are german, french and italian.

It couldn't be clearly mentioned. Just like Belgium.

Random thought: I've seen Celine live many times, but I seriously think last night was the first time I've ever seen her have a drink of water on stage! It was so out or character she even had the audience sing some drinking song while she was at it! :-D

I just don't understand how she gets through such a demanding, physical show without going through several bottles of water. I mean, I went through 2 just sitting on my #ss for 2 hours!

It's really quite something.

I've seen her do that twice, summer of 2017, in Paris; one night someone started a zagroota and she went like "what did you put in your water?"

Her body is somehow perfectly adapted, bearly drinks and hardly sweats...

I still don't know what the crowd sang afterwards, like a local drinking song?

Tonight I was front row and I have to say it was one of the best concert experiences I have been to. The energy on stage and from the audience was something else. I am so happy I was able to have this experience on my Birthday wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

That's awesome. I was fortunate enough to see celine on my birthday in 2016 and 2017 both. It really is the best.

Trying to find genuine news or media related to the tour in this topic is becoming really difficult because the same handful of posters keep complaining and the same handful of posters keep responding - once you've stated an opinion, move on and stop pushing your agenda unnecessarily. :wtf:

Céline Dion, music's greatest ever singer, the biggest-selling Canadian artist of all-time and most successful female live act ever - what's not to love?

Well, repetitiveness won't ever stop. No matter what. If it would, it would already have happened here after all these years.

So we have to accept it, ignore it if we're annoyed, skimming through posts we don't like (or simply ignore) and all is well.

I get that it could be annoying, but personnaly I never said to someone to stop repeat him/herself. That's part of discussions. IRL too.

So moaners can't blame the setlist constantly, and 'positivers' can say they're amazed by the show constantly.

I don't want to throw in unecessary big words, but it's freedom of speech. Too big an expression of course, but you get what I mean.

Yes to reduce the violent way we might express ourselves sometimes, but I repeat myself ( ;) ) : if Celine can repeat herself constantly, so do we!

Yes, but point is I’m amazed that’s all she needs. She IS superhuman!

Another theory : maybe she tries to avoid pee breaks during shows.

Part of me wonders is Imperfections going to take the place of Lady Marmalade in the medley? I don’t want it shortened to a medley piece, but it’s so repetitive that’s the reason I see it. Also since FOMO is in the medley. I know we will get some more new songs eventually, so I’ll just take whatever I can get! The more the merrier!

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

Opinions are fine, but the bitching and constant arguing is not. Have opinions, even disagree, but please let's all try to stay polite. Whether we liked the setlist ( the major complaint it seems) or not, we can stay positive even in our critiques and opinions. Tearing each other down is painful for all Celine fans who enjoy being a part of this forum. xoxo

Hey all you lucky ones that saw last night's concert (Saturday)….any videos?
Posted

Tim has uploaded some videos from saturday night. I know people said her voice sounded better but just this one c#5 here at 2:47 sounds roughest since the last show of 2016 tour.

I hope she just overprepped for the tour and is tired and that same days off here will help her.

Doesnt sound too bad to me. The second C# and E was at least better than the first night

I personally disagree. I am going to re-listen to the first and third both to see if i still feel that way but first impression was the third show was quite off. Certainly with how consistent the note was in 16 and 17 it's a little worrysome perhaps?

Edit: yeah, you're wrong. Fact not opinion sorry.

Oops well... i feel the second C#/E was less raspy and forced than it was on the 18th, but okay. I fear however as shes decided its a good idea to fly back to Vegas of all places and she’ll probably fly back the day of the Montreal show like a lunatic... *thats* what worrys me. Its strange to me though as she slayed every D belt in RDMH with ease on the 20th as well as the Eb’s in Lying Down but the two C#s she cracks on every show...

She did amazing on Lying Down! The second and third “I can hear you when you speak your poison” notes were pretty darn great. Maybe it’s just her emotions? I’m not sure. She is hitting most of them so my hope is that it’s just she’s been singing a lot, and that these 4 days of rest will do her well.
