So excited to see the tour come to the UK. I’m curious, are they going to get away with inflating the ticket prices in the European dates like they did in Vegas and NA? If they want sell-outs, there has to be plenty of reasonably priced tickets. It’s all Ticketmasters fault, greedy twits

Back in 2017 the prices were quite expensive, similar to what the NA dates are now, I remember it being like £120 for a back seat in London at the first 2 shows

These teasers are exciting but I am now over it and wish they'd just put up a list of all the dates and venues.

She's not that old though. She's only 51.

She's just changed her priorities nowadays.

She has a very young spirit ;)

with certain age you can't sing like when you were 30 years old

having a bit better vocals for the second show it does show she is

doing what it takes to keep it in a good condition.

Eventually in order to keep good vocals for this whole years of shows/upcoming years

she will do have to keep training her voice in commonly manner.

On behalf of my good friend who lives in Croatia, does anybody know if Celine is gonna visit croatia or serbia? There was something written on the mirror in croation/serbian. Which country will she visit, which city and which Venue?

I didn't find any information about it. It could also be Bosnia & Herzegovina or Montenegro. Although I doubt. It will be either Zagreb or Belgrade. If it's Zagreb it will definitely be in Arena Zagreb.

Only Belgrade and Zagreb have large enough venues. Belgrade arena is almost a replica of MercedeZ benz arena in Berlin...

Probably because of all the b****ing and whinging and moaning from everyone about the first night. Why would anyone post videos for a bunch of ungrateful complainers?

Exactly! I have all my videos to myself and friends and family. People are ungrateful and will just use it to criticize the show anyway.

Which IG post? It could be either Serbia or Croatia by judging by the language

Celine's, and yes it could be either. I wasn't aware both countries shared the language.

So if we criticize the show, that's ungrateful... to you? Weird logic. As if you were involved with the creation of the show.

I want to mark the date on my calendar, buy the ticket, book a hotel, pick an outfit, and wait in peace.

She's a great performer, I'll go bananas like the last time.

I agree;

Just cause I think the setlist is crappy and lazy doesn’t make me less of a fan, just a person who calls it like I see it.

Just like the people who think it’s a perfect setlist and voice it ( I leave them be and let them enjoy it )

Celine will never please everyone, that’s fine; I don’t expect her too, however if she’s aiming to please as many people as possible she should really think about truly showing “Courage” in the English setlist.

It is possible; that maybe her team did a quick generic version of shows for French Canada and her artistry will

begin showing in the English shows ( since the tour will be a majority English show besides the addition of France)

I just hope so...but if the recipe follows we’ll probably see a very safe setlist in the USA and onward too :(

Just listened to PQTME from last night, the first verse and chorus were so soft and reminiscent of prime Celine, the second verse and chorus were strong and clear too. The climax was slightly off, but its a huge improvement from the first show, she also began to cry a bit during the climax... also she looks like an angel in that dress

That’s exactly what im thinking (and dreading, it will be really disheartening if they threw together a crappy show for her home and HER people), if its the case that she put all her effort into the english show I genuinely cant blame her, even with a european leg, this tours gonna be at least 90% Anglo in its entire 2 year run, so it would be logistically the simplest thing to do

Before you throw all of the complainers in one giant heap, let me clarify that during this long wait for Opening Night, I was one of the positive fans. I was on board with Céline and her team, their marketing strategy, the quality of the album and released tracks, the costumes, the stage, the bun - EVERYTHING. I love her - surely as much as you do - but she promised a special show for the fans. Let's be real these aren't $100-200 tickets... so I think we, as customers, have every right to expect/demand a high-quality show. The visuals is one (good) thing, but that's only half the show...

Please, please introduce me to these casual fans, who apparently only own the ATW cd and are willing to shell out anywhere from $200-$3,000 to hear pitchy renditions of the hits. Apparently I'm an idiot, because I put my tickets up for sale again and nobody has snatched them up yet. In fact, at the show I'm attending in Chicago, there are still entire rows of VIP seats up for sale that are even more expensive than mine were at at face value, before I had to mark them up to recoup the fees for resale.

First of all there is a difference between a good show and what you think is a good show... if your tired of hearing the same setlist doesnt make it a bad show in someone else eyes... Well she did deliver some pretty great things... this is the first two nights of the show she needs to adjust still 2nd night voice sounded alot better already. I dont know about you guys but here in europe ticket to her show are between 60 to 200 dollars so thats precisely what we are paying for. It ios a high quality show with amazign visuals she sings she has these interlude videos and they amazing costume and singing... so again you cant bash the show because you want another setlist..

BTW over here you need to wait until the show comes up then tickets start selling she wont be selling out every arena but think she is getting popular... And everybody had negative things to say about the marketing look at how they are handeling it now same goes with show... maybe there will be some changes for english show you like wait and then complain... but also be positive with things that are positive.. this looks far more expensive than the summer shows in europe the past few years and more thought out so if the setlist was better thats different european market is different.

And alot of fans will be visiting her show for the first time, you cant expect 40000 people in the arenas to all be diehard celine fans so they make it more general for people who only know her popular stuff too.

May ???? I thought that the European tour will take place in July-August.... Sad...

And what about Switzerland ?...

No "Vejo-vos em breve!"

No Portugal, again?

:(

Its not the full list. That would be a very short European leg if it was

Exactly, this tour is basically a English only tour without French speaking Canada, and France.

I just think, starting this tour in Quebec was wrong; should’ve started with the English setlist first and ended the tour in France and then French speaking Canada...then we might have gotten a less lazy French setlist :hmm:

Agreed. Wouldve been more sentimental if they finished in Quebec or Montreal

OK so I watched the stream on Wednesday and thought "this set list is awful, why did I buy tickets to so many shows?

And then I saw it live last night and my opinion completely changed.

Here are my takeaways:

1. The show is EPIC in a way that doesn't come across on a Facebook video. The visuals are excellent and she fills that stage like never before (and the bar was already really high).

2. When I read the setlist, I was so disappointed with some choices - like A Vous or I'm Alive, which I despise, Kiss & RDMH still being in the show, etc. But seeing them live... she just really elevates the material, no matter how vapid it is.

3. People who are complaining about lack of dancers: believe me, you don't want them. That would only take away from the show.

Celine IS the dancer, in a way she never was before, even if it's not choreographed per se. Yes, she has always had amazing stage presence and moved very well, but this is a whole other level of athleticism and artistry. She fills that stage and then some. Those dance lessons are really showing.

4. She looks ridiculously fit and gorgeous, which is even more evident up close than on pictures / videos. I'm usually more eloquent than this but...just... WOW.

5. It's very clear this show is intended to be fun. I think she consciously picked a lot of songs that are energetic, that give her a chance to move and be expressive beyond just the vocals.

6. For those complaining about lack of artistry: it certainly doesn't feel that way when you see her deliver this live. It's most decidedly there. And the video interludes are a great addition. I particularly love that they were filmed without her usual heavy stage make-up; I always thought she was so much more beautiful that way, and she's so expressive... it's really quite something. I think her performance in those really elevates this beyond just a pop music concert, and into the real of something you'd see from a more "art house" dance or performing arts company.

7. Re. Ziggy: People around me talked all through that song about how it's so much about Pepe, how well they lyrics fit, etc. etc.

Celine is not stupid. She knew this would be the response, but she did it anyway.

This tells me she might think a little bit of intrigue is not such a bad thing. ;)

8. I will never understand how she can dance and prance around like that in those stilettos. She's superhuman. :o

Bottom line: The set list becomes a pretty minor concern once you're actually in her presence. She is just THAT good, she can elevate anything. It's a top-notch show, the artistry is definitely on display, she very clearly is loving it and very proud of it.

So if you're thinking of selling your tickets because you're fed up with You're the Voice - don't. You'll regret it.

(And btw, she explained last night why she loves YTV and why she's singing it; I guess she must have seen some of the commentary?)

Thank you for your feedback. I couldn't agree more. The way I see it, Celine is trying to show everyone her mindset at this moment. She wants to show everyone that yes she suffered but she has also found the courage to move on. Through her new passions , ballet and fashion, she was able to go on with her life. The videos during the show clearly show this. The setlist for sure resonates inside of her. She chose 'your the voice, 'and many others for a reason. The three new songs from the album are incredible. To me the song 'courage' says it all. She is strong, she is daring , but she still lives with Rene. Celine is one of those rare artists that make you fall in love with them as soon as they step on stage. She could sing 'mary had a little lamb' in a bathrobe and people would still be mesmerised. The setlist becomes quite irrelevant when you are in her presence. I would love to see videos from last night and every other night. I know that many people aren't interested, but I for one would love it. My admiration for Celine goes way beyond a setlist!

IMO die-hard fans are the ones to please first.

Sorry but it's like you are pleasing strangers over your partner. That doesn't make any sense.

Moreover, I really want to know how many casual fans Céline has. According this board, the whole earth is a casual fan seeing her for the first time and they want the hits.

I really doubt the audience is a brand new one. In Quebec, she did 10 shows or so 3 years ago ( with almost the same setlist). That's about 200.000 people and Quebec is not even 10 million of inhabitants...

Nobody will make me believe that she has so many casual fans not translating into record sells and willing to pay that much for a show of someone they don't have the records.

That being said, the "unknown songs" are not that "unknown" when talking about Céline ( and especially in Québec).

But in general, I don't know what they are thinking. Really. She has 2 of the biggest selling records of all time, both having sold more than 30 million copies... a song like "us" for instance is known by a lot of people.

But no...wait.sorry ... Céline is the only artist who sold a song 31.578.433 times but the majority of 16.000 persons attending one of her show don't know that song. What are the odds? Lol

So because 32 Million people bought Falling Into You, anyone who owns it will automatically know and be actively seeking a performance of Your Light and I Love You? Thats so untrue. I myself (as many others on here are most likely guilty of doing), find If its not someone I absolutely adore and dive deep into the songs of, I probably bought their album for 2 or 3 songs I appreciate and will probably only listen to those songs, I bet if we knew how many people bought LTAL JUST for MHWGO we would be astonished as nothing else particularly on that album was a hit or extremely well known. I mean my mother owns LTAL, but if Celine were to do a random performance of Just a Little Bit Of Love, I doubt she’d have any clue

That’s half true, but also works both ways...

A lot of people bought LTAL album for MHWGO but ended up falling in love with “Us”

Some people bought FIY for BYLM, ABM or IACBTMN, ended up loving “Make You Happy”.

Oh, die hard fans only want three songs. That wont put out the general public who still have 17 of popular stuff.

That way everyone would be happy.
