So its not okay to be tired after being interviewed all week, rehearsing all week and then doing 3 shows in 4 days? Give me a break. Infact no, give Celine a break. This mentality that shes a machine is ridiculous. No point in continuing a conversation as youve just proved to be unreasonable

 

Exactly she is human and will have on and off days. It's like buying tickets to watch Roger Federer and complaining you want your money back if he looses. You pay your money and you get Celine how she is on the day. She might be on form she might be tired but she will come onstage to perform for you.

In an interview that was released this past week the interviewer asked her if she 'could see herself not being on stage anymore' and she said that she thinks of it, but not now, that she still has the energy and passion for what she does. She also mentioned that she'd like to retire from stage doing a small tour in theatres, like it was in her beginnings. But she didn't mention that it was planned for the next years or after this tour. She was thinking about the future, maybe when she is 70 or something like that.

I think it's also very clear that she still loves what she does, singing. She said that many times recently. So I think she will go on a break after the tour, which she has well deserved. But I'm sure this is not the last tour and courage is not her last album. I'm sure she's not done yet.

U know... I don't believe that she wants to retire... In 2021 she births 40 years of music carrer, i mean, these we'll be a great moment for make-a-break...

And a really good ocassion for re-release all her catalogue (including her first 5 albums pre-Sony era) with bonus tracks and rare stuff (I'm dreaing, right)

lol she's not retiring after the Tour otherwise the Courage World Tour would have been promoted as a Farewell Tour which is not the case.

 

Also look at Madonna, Cher and even Barbra Streisand, they're way older than Celine and they're still active in the music business.

I don’t think so either. As long as she keeps a house there I think she’s doing so because she knows in her heart she’ll settle back down there eventually and do shows again. I don’t think it’ll be for quite some time though and likely not nearly as big of commitments at a time. Shorter contracts and residencies would be good so she still has freedom to do other things if she wants.

It was sold out. I was there the second and third night. It just the effect of the steel poles between each row in the upper sections.

I see, I was there on the opening night and it seemed sold out to me although I didn't pay much attention to the upper sections since my seat was on first left floor. Nice to know that the 2 others nights were sold out as well.

I think I read somewhere that Ottawa is a French show. Possibly more English than Quebec and Montreal, but not the full English set list - I think we can expect that in Cleveland.
