The first performance of lying down was good. Third one was horribleeee. I feel so bad hearing it. She was really struggling I feel bad for her. I wanna forget about it.

 

It seems to me she's not doing enough vocal exercise or warm ups. It cant be her age at all.

 

Edit: she did relatively better on the 2nd and 3rd "I can hear you when you speak your poison" on the 21st. The first one she clearly struggled.

 

 

She did amazing on Lying Down! The second and third “I can hear you when you speak your poison” notes were pretty darn great. Maybe it’s just her emotions? I’m not sure. She is hitting most of them so my hope is that it’s just she’s been singing a lot, and that these 4 days of rest will do her well.

Or shes just tired..... i mean for every day leading up she was promoting and rehearsing, then a show, then a day off then two back to back shows in a not 100% vocal condition. I dont blame her for being vocally tired

I hope that's the case. Her time off before the next shows should do her voice good if she takes enough rest.

I won’t pay 200 euros to see her live with this voice... I am sorry, when you earn millions of dollars in only 3 dates, it’s a lack of respect for the public. She should train her voice, it’s more than an emergency.

Actually in quebec the nosebleeds are all equipped with guard rails. I noticed it immediately. Those will be there with ot without people. I know from the picture it looks like empty seats but thats just the guardrail. Any persons would have blended into the darkness of the picture.

People that have went to see her said her voice sounds better then it comes across on video. I think it’s a little harsh to judge off a video which in many cases cannot handle the power of her voice.

Bad lighting? Because i saw one of the video during the medley where the uploader pan his camera to the left and i thought it was empty but it’s not.. the design of the chairs gives you an illusion that it’s empty but when the lights shines to that seat you’ll see someone is seating. Just saying what I’ve observed

 

Edit: so it was guard rails... they should change that design.. lol

So its not okay to be tired after being interviewed all week, rehearsing all week and then doing 3 shows in 4 days? Give me a break. Infact no, give Celine a break. This mentality that shes a machine is ridiculous. No point in continuing a conversation as youve just proved to be unreasonable

How much rest does a performer need to recuperate? I would say her current vocal condition is a function of the combo of having inadequate proper vocal training and not enough rest. Or maybe she's not hearing herself well again? I hope it's not it as it's much serious than having no rest and vocal training.

Vocal training isnt the issue. You can have the best technique in the world and rehearse and train vocally for an hour before your show and still be tired.

Indeed she s already starting to sound like before her hear surgery.

 

But I agree this has nothing to do with training. She s vocally tired AF if it s not also the hear.

Because i remember back in 2003.. she did too many workouts to tone her body for the opening of A New Day show.. then, her singing voice changed, right? And a bit shaky too like... now. I think the 4 full days off will help, however she needs to fly back the night before the montreal show and get a GOOD nights sleep

I was watching the news and from no where the headlines shows "Is Celine coming to Israel?"

How much more my heart can endure until Boss will come to give a gig in my country?

 

Now, They are talking about new date 20.8, of course nothing confirmed yet.

I don't think she rehearsed that much, vocally speaking.

She did on her stage attitude, it's quite obvious but the songs? Well I won't start again on the setlist but what for? She must have done it for sure but not to the point to exhauste her voice. She didn't even know the lyrics the first night...

It's of course not a sign of no rehearsing but it's definitely not a sign of rehearsing. Haha

Its not the fact that she had 2 months off. Its the fact that for 4 days before opening night, she was doing interviews constantly and still rehearsing for the show the entire time, then the opening show and another interview after the show, then one day off, then 2 back to back shows in a non-perfect vocal condition. 4 days of bare minimum talking, just talking to the kids, she’ll definitely have improved vocal condition.

It seems to me that the situation is very dynamic. Some venues are seemingly confirmed, but others will probably be added... Whatever list's posted soon, I don't think it will be exhaustive.

You guys do know that the ticket price is not just to pay Celine. There are engineers, ground staff, security, venue cost, management, licensing, musicians, logistics. There are at least 300 people working for one show
