Nmj Posted September 19, 2019 at 04:56 AM Posted September 19, 2019 at 04:56 AM I really don’t see a problem with this setlist. People just love to complain so that they can hear themselves do so...it makes them feel important. They must have so much joy in their lives, that this is what makes them so angry. Sad. No problem at all with that setlist?!! Nothing about it was new or exciting. 1 Quote
CelinesDIVO5 Posted September 19, 2019 at 04:59 AM Posted September 19, 2019 at 04:59 AM (edited) She did literally 50% of the show with HER OWN French songs. And she did “Regarde-moi” and “Terre.” I consider both a treat. People just love to complain so that they can hear themselves do so...it makes them feel important. They must have so much joy in their lives, that this is what makes them so angry. Sad. This! The poor woman is damned if she do, damned if she don't. She has a ridiculously long list of epic hits that people are expecting to hear and she's trying to not disappoint, while still presenting new songs, while still having FUN with covers because that's what she enjoys and she's perfectly entitled to do so. For every person complaining on this forum tonight, I guarantee you there was someone who walked out of the show tonight pissed she didn't sing BYLM. LOL Tonight's show was beautifully Celine and I love the artistic visuals that I'm sure she had a huge part in envisioning and bringing to life. 7 Quote

I also found the MHWGO Intro with new vocals and that beautiful visual to be cool, also the way she comes on saying “its all coming back, its all coming back to me now” I found cool 3 Quote

jpatdeleon09 Posted September 19, 2019 at 05:13 AM Posted September 19, 2019 at 05:13 AM We’re on a francophone setlist for now... Curious for the anglophone setlist. But at least I’m right with the opening LOL IACBTMN but i thought they will change the arrangements Quote
Nmj Posted September 19, 2019 at 05:20 AM Posted September 19, 2019 at 05:20 AM I wonder if that medley of random songs at the end of the Show was supposed be rarities and Celine songs and was changed last minute??.... Scott said not long ago that Celine was coming up with new ideas just days before.... sounds like something Celine would do, would to cut a medley of older gems in place for these songs, because none of it meshes well, it almost seems like they just added it last minute. cwnice Posted September 19, 2019 at 05:35 AM Posted September 19, 2019 at 05:35 AM Anyone can help us who can't offer to see this entire tour to buy tour program ? Thanks alot. Quote If there was Diva Live, I would suggest Celine Dion + Shania Twain + Faith Hill + Barbra Streisand + Delta Goodrem
Leanne Posted September 19, 2019 at 05:36 AM Posted September 19, 2019 at 05:36 AM I LOVE the new intro for MHWGO, this give me chills for the first time since many many years of same start of the song. 2 Quote
Popular Post Dancing_Queen Posted September 19, 2019 at 05:47 AM Popular Post Posted September 19, 2019 at 05:47 AM (edited) I've put up PQTMAE and Lying Down on my Youtube.I'll go through the rest tomorrow to see if there's any more worth posting. There was a photographer who kept blocking the speakers (hence the muffled sound here and there)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4BKzwSn1t4https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMTDOOOt_OA&feature=youtu.be Couple of remarks: - The visuals/interludes were masterpieces. The dance with Pepe, the intro to MHWGO ...visually stunning. The tour book is gorgeous too.- She was 'très nerveuse' and it was obvious. Her voice was not always up to par (most obvious in Regarde-moi and L'Amour Existe encore).- She barely used the catwalks. I was in the center, so I'm not complaining - Her body is TO DIE FOR omg. I liked all the outfits as well, way better than past tours.- 'Courage' sounded amazing live.- PQTME was another absolute highlight for me. The acoustic start was beautiful and she kept it simple.- Very happy with the cuts of BYLM, PR and LCMM- I actually liked all the covers and I love her playful mood when she sings them. That said, she does need to make some choices before things get out of hand.- Very limited talking. Must've been the nerves?- Audience reaction seemed positive (from the few people I've overheard after the show) I think (Team) Céline knows what the general public wants to hear, as much as we would prefer them to make other choices. I'm happy I've attended (not in the least because my seats were the best I've ever had).A lot of the things I loved could never be captured by a livestream though. Popular Post Tyler1991 Posted September 19, 2019 at 05:49 AM Popular Post Posted September 19, 2019 at 05:49 AM (edited) Quit y'all bitching. So this happened. Celine was so gracious tonight after the show. She stopped the car for about 15 minutes and signed and took pictures for about everyone. She told me she likes my sweatshirt. I said that i love her and traveled all the way from Indiana and i loved it. She said thankyou for coming. It wasn't my best photo but hey she looked fantastic and I'm not complaining.I wanted to make a joke about being the same age as LCMM which got dropped for first time in my life, but figured that small bit may be enough to revive it and people wouldn't be happy with me lol. The show First, i love that this for me was an unspoiled setlist. Ive now seen six setlists. All six were within the first three shows for each "setlist"..." closest i ever came to being unspoiled before was in bordeaux where i only knew the first two songs. Didn't even know that here. Tonight i was unaware of anything and i am glad i came just for that. The visuals in person do definitely add some perception to the performances. I wouldn't say its the best I've seen at any show (in general), but for celine the visuals were a step up from anything relating to her previous shows. Whether it was celine appearing in front of a backdrop to add to the song (like EUS) or the multiple interludes, overall visuals were good. I am glad the interludes were done like this rather than giving barnev a song. iacbtmn was an interesting choice to open with. The unison tease to start had me more excited than iacbtmn!! In recent years quebec shows seen 80% french which was great. I think the english headlining tour caused a slight conflict on not knowing the best balance of english vs french, but i think this was a good balance.Everyone complaining needs to remember the setlist will change several songs come cleveland. Hopefully by time the rest of the predictables are placed there is still room for a classic longly untouched gem or two. Highlights: a vous, regarde moi, tous les blues sont ecrits pour toi, the interludes, and the new covers.Lowlights- you're the voice and kiss. No "opportunity" to sometimes let fans sing mhwgo ending.. *cough* please go back to live on this ending. Also, i just want to say I've thought many times about what it would sound like for celine to sing another one bites the dust. I am happy it sounded as great as i anticipated. So my trip here is very short and i head home tomorrow. Very glad i came. It was nice to talk to several of you after the show too! Also i got several videos of full songs but connection here is too slow to upload tonight. Will be tomorrow. Edited September 19, 2019 at 05:56 AM by Tyler1991 30 Quote
LVCeline Posted September 19, 2019 at 05:54 AM Posted September 19, 2019 at 05:54 AM Woooooow Tyler! How incredible you got a picture with her, you both look amazing! I'm sure that was the last thing you thought would happen, thank you for sharing that! You did go a long way to see her, I'm sure she loved that kind of support. Can't wait to hear more of the show! 3 Quote
LVCeline Posted September 19, 2019 at 06:05 AM Posted September 19, 2019 at 06:05 AM Also definitely worth noting that she's singing PQTME as close to the original version as she has since I can remember. No more super weird ad-libs and changing the melody and pulling her dress up nonsense. That acoustic intro was incredible as well, it breathed some life into that song. Lying Down sounded great as well, though a bit of struggle on the highest parts (which I expected, even the studio version did). Thank you to everyone sharing vids! I love her outfits! 2 Quote

Shamrock_1982 Posted September 19, 2019 at 06:21 AM Posted September 19, 2019 at 06:21 AM Is Pepe seriously back dancing with her? I thought he retired from dancing to be her “stylist”. Lol 1 Quote
smw Posted September 19, 2019 at 06:24 AM Posted September 19, 2019 at 06:24 AM I bet everything will click into place beautifully by the time Cleveland rolls around. And I imagine the very next performance will be even stronger once those nerves are gone! In Cleveland, the setlist will include several more English songs and I bet she’ll be out on those catwalks more frequently too! We should all be super proud of Celine! She’ll get stronger and stronger. 1 Quote
Nmj Posted September 19, 2019 at 06:27 AM Posted September 19, 2019 at 06:27 AM I hope the LCMM haters don’t get too excited, I can already see the writing on the wall for Lady Marmalade being cut for the English shows and replaced with LCMM... since she did the French version, I’m sure true only French song will be PQTME... I wanna know why we still don’t have ANDHC Radio Remix and IDAN in this show yet we have “You’re the Voice” and the most weird choices for the medley, and they still won’t rest BATB... even BYLM should be there before BATB. And no speeches really... what a weird and boring setlist and show. 3 Quote

Jermaine1 Posted September 19, 2019 at 06:52 AM Posted September 19, 2019 at 06:52 AM Im not worried about the set list because I know it will change for America. I’m more so concerned with the fact that the production value doesn’t seem to be that great. Were there no dancers?? 1 Quote

Gulenkov Posted September 19, 2019 at 06:57 AM Posted September 19, 2019 at 06:57 AM (edited) Does anyone appreciate those little changes incorporated to EUS as much as I do? More audible acoustic guitar chords and overall, it just sounds better than an over-orchestrated version of 2016&2017. The visuals for this one are also stunningly beautiful, although quite simple.Still think that it was the nervousness which affected Celine's vocal performance last night. She even missed a couple of beats in EUS climax an sang earlier. Edited September 19, 2019 at 06:57 AM by Gulenkov 3 Quote
Popular Post stevo Posted September 19, 2019 at 07:00 AM Popular Post Posted September 19, 2019 at 07:00 AM SuperLove4Celine- go and have a cigarette 😁 Is she contracted to sing You’re The Voice or something? Why the F didn’t someone tell her that that’s enough now? ‘I’ve wanted to sing this song for 20 years’...you’ve sang it now, enough. It was enough 2 years ago. And Kiss. Gentle Jesus preserve and protect me and help me find the strength to buy tickets for the tour. 8 Quote
