OF course i am. But im trying to keep a little optimism for the english shows. If they get worse with another cover and just hits with zero back catslogue or zero “used-to-do-these-songs” moments ill be selling my tickets. Point blank period

 

Lucky you. I have tickets for the first USA show... I think I’m just going to sell my tickets and not risk it. I spent lots of money on them, sorry today’s show wasn’t worth that money, love Céline but won’t throw my money on that show...I’ll save my money.

Since I rarely watch her French shows, I was tHrILLED to have Ziggy, regarde moi, TLB and A Vous! I don’t think i’ve seen them live before so this was Awesome.

 

Also, with hyde park having been my last concert.. the generic-public-service songs felt super minimal lol.

 

Er can they turn the volume up on her during Lying Down? Man was she drowned out.

 

The double DAUM/Terre just seriously confused me. I thought I’d drunk too much or had a concussion or something.

 

FOMO has got to add a proper bass. It’s supposed to be her dance number, but it was the song in the dance set where everyone just stopped moving.

 

I loved the guitar start of PQTME!!!

 

As someone who did ballet for 20 years.. I was literally yelling WTF?? Watching her pas de deux with Pepe. How she got so good so fast is ridiculous. I suppose she had similar training for AND, and she has Such a perfect ballet body.. but her movements were Incredibly lyrical. A bit much with the facial expressions, but man those extensions...

 

There was a second where i legit thought she might pass out.. her voice was wavering and i think she passed on a phrase in regarde moi.. then she unbuttoned her blouse cos she was overheating or something..?? Glad she’s good! Carbo load dear <3

I guess this tour is Courageous, it takes a person with courage to give that setlist and feel that they can’t do better for the fans after 11 years without a world tour.

Imo if she switched the mess uptempo section for Je dans dan ma tete/ Des Mots Qui Sonnet/ Incognito medley, the show wouldve been absolutely fine for me

My biggest disappointment and why I hadn't gone to see the last Vegas residency was the overuse of covers. I love Celine, but I love her for her own songs, NOT her identical interpretations of other artists' songs that I'm largely not interested at all in listening to. I was especially excited to go to a bilingual show because Taking Chances in Paris was AMAZING and had some of her best French hits (DESTIN) and a great selection of the current English album songs/hits. Now, everything has been picked over to be a worse selection of the Vegas residency songs I didn't want to hear and the best of both her English and French discography are missing. Most are neither the hits nor the deep cuts fans wanted. So much wasted opportunity.

Just removing the entire medley of covers with a medley of her own older songs would make a huge difference!

I don't care much about Lady Marmalade, Another One Bites The Dust... But some of her French songs were great choices!

That’s exactly how I’m feeling. Are they kidding us??? After yesterday I thought they’d finally surprise us with a brand new setlist and this is what we get?? Where are the gems of Celine’s repertoire they rediscovered? DAUM opening for the French songs? Again?? Gutted.

I'm looking forward to an entire english show, that's where she will truly shine, wtf Lady marmelade come on.

 

The ballet interlude is absolutly amazing for me, i thought the whole show would be thought in this artistic way ... I got so scared when hearing kiss that she would sing purple rain after... unless she keeps it for the english setlist lolll desperate.

So far, my favorite moment of the concert was the remixed “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” line she did in the intro...it sounded fresh and remixed and cool!

 

The rest of the show didn’t follow that mood..

I will say, A Vous, Tous Les Blues and Regarde Moi were a. nice addition. I do still feel we will get more english stuff when the album is OUT, this is a more messy approach

I really don’t see a problem with this setlist. People just love to complain so that they can hear themselves do so...it makes them feel important. They must have so much joy in their lives, that this is what makes them so angry. Sad.
