Random question: Do you guys think Garou had a crush on Celine? I am sure he did! It's quite obious. I'm interested in your opinions

Oh, I'm pretty sure he had a major crush on her.

One time, I was watching the 2007 Les Plaines concert and my sis-in-law at the time even remarked on it, it was that obvious.

 

There's probably been plenty of speculation on the subject around here, but I feel like something happened between them in 2007. If you compare Céline's demeanour toward him during the Saint-Justine concert and the Les Plaines concert, there's a marked difference. At Les Plaines, she seemed uncomfortable when he got close. And let's not forget the BTS footage where she hugs every person in the whole damn building but somehow skips him 😂 Almost felt sorry for the guy. But I find him a bit creepy tbh.

yes, I noticed that difference in her behavior towards him as well! It’s really obvious

Well weren't there also some professional difficulties between Garou and Rene. I seem to recall reading an interview suggesting Garou ditched Rene as his manager because he wanted an English career too and Rene was against it. I guess some of the professional tension between them would have influenced Celine too.

Didn't Garou have really warm words to say about how Celine and Rene helped his career? I forget the specific instance, but I thought that relationship was mostly amicable. Could be misremembering.

And even if Adele does make this gesture, it may be beautiful or even touching, but still far from "breaking news" about Céline...

This might be the best You're The Voice performance, the audience is actually very attentive unlike the us tours she did. Melbourne 2018 was also good when she sang with John Farnham himself.

It would probably be MHWGO or IACBTMN. I really hope it's something else. Like To Love You More or Because You Loved Me or I think Adele's voice would be great in Courage.

Ugh, looks like that persisting rumor about RC (wasting money/feuding with his mother/calling his mother 'the most boring singer alive') is now actually being published by some Belgian newspapers. So I guess I'll be fielding questions about it for the next couple of days...

Do we even know who originally published the rumor? I just hope there's no truth to it whatsoever. He doesn't owe the public anything, but I know one thing: If it were my mother, I would've posted a strongly worded denial ages ago, especially once the rumor became wide-spread. Would hate for people to believe I'd do something like that to my sick mother.

I hate these Celine Dion is dead hoax videos on YT and TT.😠 They are horrible and disrespectful towards Celine.

For the life of me, I do not understand these fools.

We on this board are *the* ultimate market for Céline Dion merch.

If they looked even halfway decent, I bet many of us would buy them.

I bet they're just too cheap to pay rights to photographers/designers so they randomly make something themselves.

I really really wish they wouldn't, it's just embarrassing at this point.
