Love the way Jean-Jacques' eyebrows shoot up when Celine kisses him. :laugh:

 

ETA: Her voice in 2002 was flawless. Maybe the best it ever was. So crazy to think that was 20 years ago.

If he is good at poker he could support himself though.

I guess RC is trying to turn this into a career.

Well, at least he’s hanging out with the best! If you’re not familiar with Daniel Negreanu, he’s a Canadian pro player (who was friends with Rene) and is considered one of the best in the game. Netflix, I believe, made a documentary about him, called KidPoker.

Shirley Bassey singing "Never, Never, Never" which is just a slightly different version of "I Hate You, Then I Love You" ... it's so interesting to hear a different, great female voice sing this song. I knew there were other earlier versions, but never knew Bassey had a hit with this song before Pavarotti and Celine gave it a try

It's really hard for me to picture what Céline has been doing the last 2 years + ...

 

I mean we know she is sick but sick for what? Obviously to be on stage..but for the rest?

 

She has been spotted outside once. She is mostly in Vegas (?) where most of her family isn't.

 

Is she watching TV all day long? Reading books? Learning guitar? Watching YT videos?

 

She has kids but she must have help ( to clean, to cook, etc.). Does she get new working offers? New songs?

 

It's hard for me to imagine she just said to whoever her team is "no to everything". One interview?

 

As a fan, it's confusing to go from René who made sure to regularly update the Canadian press to nothing at all.

 

She didn't agree with this process? Did she change her mind? Didn't they learn anything from René in 30 years?

reduced rate perhaps? i know one of her background singers has taken other jobs and continues to.

Thinking how hot it is here, in Europe ATM, and thinking how it's always (well most of the time) so hot in Vegas.... I can't imagine an Canadian girl like Céline loving those temperatures all the time! :fear:

So I had a wonderful dream last night….and I didn’t want it to end.

 

Celine started to pop up on tv stations with this new look with purple hair and looked amazing. She was planning a surprise EP with 5 new songs that she was recording somewhere in Rome. All of a sudden I was there outside the building and tried to record parts of the songs.

 

I then remember being in a room where she was recreating an old song (can’t remember which one but it was French). I then woke up and my excitement left me!

 

Weird how dreams can be so real sometimes!
