It's a GIF, it's supposed to be without sound...

 

It seems too odd of a length to be a GIF, esp. consider the movements. And they made it a GIF by putting on no sound, it was not a pre-existing GIF.... #choices

I just happened to notice that Dee resurfaced on instagram (different handle, not sure if it's a new account). No longer following Céline it seems...

They seemed so close until about a year ago (around the Vegas announcement), so I've been wondering if they had a falling out.

None of my business, I know, but...it's not like we have much else to talk about on this board anyway 😂

I do feel Seth Mcfarlane loves Celine as she has been spared compared to other celebs ... the only thing they said is I cant believe that voice comes out of that face... which is nothing compared to how they treated Britney , Mariah and Whitney.

Boy, I must say this board has been very Boring lately, When does anybody think is the next time we will see her again,

Sure hope its not going to be for a very long time this time around ,

Fingers crossed we get something from her sometime this yr

I think around the end of the year she will slowly come back to the spotlight, when tour-preparations and the buzz for the movie begin

Guys, to me it seems Celine doesn't have the same amount of "classics" in french as she has in english. Atleast not so many stable ones which are a given in every show. I can only think of PQTME, SSD, DUAM and somehow Ziggy. What do you think? Celine seems to be more free in changing the setlists than in english

I think she is more free in her French setlist, because the public doesn't expect certain hits like she has in her English catalogue, that's why there is more variation. Basically most of her French albums were huge successes.

Well I think prople are not posting because there is NO CELINE RELATED NEWS OR UPDATES, everything has been quiet in Celine world since the postponements of the European shows of the "Courage World Tour", & that was what, 2 months ago now (that announcement was in April, now we are in June!)

 

Unless Celine somehows appears again, or her Team decides to post on her social media again (which they have not in weeks,) then sadly this silenve will be the NEW NORMAL until when/if she comes back (meaning if she does not decide to postpone/cancel any more shows down the road depending on her health, hopefully she will not but as we all know NOTHING SET IN STONE when it comes to Celine & her health right now, as none of us knows what is going on behind the scenes!)

Again like I just mentioned to another person, it will MAINLY DEPEND ON CELINE & HER TEAM, if we can get any news from their end so there would be something to talk about. But being that her team has been SUPER SILENT since the "Courage World Tour" European show postponement announcement from 2 months ago now, it looks like this will be the new normal of discussions about Celine/anything Celine-related until she & her team wake upfrom hibernation lol!

 

Even if Celines team decided to release some past concerts of Celines on DVD/streaming/digital downloads in the meantime until when/if Celine comes back, that would be GREAT - that way her fans have lots of concerts that are currently unavailable to watch (as they are NOT AVAILABLE on youtube, amazon, or anywhere else to watch,) while we are waiting for Celine to hopefully come back! I just CAN NOT understand why they are keeping all that footage locked up instead of at least letting the fans be able to buy/download/stream those concerts (& Celine & company can still make $$ while Celine is not performing!) Release the darn concerts Celines Team!

Does anybody really think Celine IS ACTUALLY COMING BACK OR NOT? In your honest opinions?

 

As it just seems like except for the announcements of show postponements/cancellations (& the "Stand up for Ukraine" video she did,) there has been ALMOST NOTHING from Celines or her Teams end for the past 2 years - no new pictures, no new videos (except for the ones I have mentioned about show cancellations/postponements & the "Stand up for Ukraine" video from 2 months ago,) pretty much radio silence from her & her team! & as much as I want to be optimistic, I just feel a sense of dread, that things might be worse behind the scenes with her health than any of us know! Which could explain why we have barely seen her or heard from her within nearly 2 years!

 

So what do you all think of this? This is a actually good discussion to talk about, especially since as there are no other Celine-related news to talk about, & most likely will not be until maybe sometime next year - if we are lucky! Thanks & have a great day!

Interesting fact that I never knew of. So apparently I Surrender was intended for the Polish singer Edyta Gorniak, who was building an international career at that time, but they took it from her and gave the song to Celine and she missed out. However, she recorded a Polish version of the song afterwards. The original demo was recorded by Edyta and she says that Celine even imitated the way she sang on the demo.
