Random news, thoughts and common questions about Celine (closed)

It usually takes her a few days for these things (e.g. Daniel Levi passed away on the 6th and she posted about him yesterday. It took her even longer for others in the past.)

I think often it's a case of her team looking for the appropriate photo from the Feeling archives.

Yes, a few days, weeks, months... to post. Just look at the elephant art piece. That was in April or May (?) and they just posted.
I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

They had to dig them out of the archives :giggle:

Guys, something interesting that I've noticed:

It's very obvious in the HD version of the I'm Alive music video that Celine was started lipping the song too early and then laughed, corrected herself and did it again :D You can see that between second 0:27 and 0:28. I only noticed it now in the HD version of the video :D

Guys, I was wondering if Celine actually suffers from tinnitus, given that she has been on stage and in recording studios all her life and thus permanently surrounded by very high volumes of sounds. What are your thoughts on that?

I think it has something to do with her weight. I mean, she’s like getting skinny every year and back in 2018 where she did her surgery. Her condition needs fats inside which I forgot what her condition called again.

Don't in-ear monitors help protect her hearing?

Don't in-ear monitors help protect her hearing?

no idea how this works, but she was constantly exposed to very loud noises, soundchecks, concerts etc.

Well she has in-ear monitors in during her moments of exposure, and it seems to me they would function more or less like an earplug -- though to a differing extent. And then she will have most of the amplified sound facing away from her too during concerts, although there is of course still risk.

My two cents.

I know we have this “Titanic World Tour” orchestra. Does Céline’s name still part of the end credits? Because different singers are singing MHWGO at the end credits part

In recent years Celine centered her music around a big orchestra, but I think it would be cool if she added some real rock with even metal elements to certain songs, especially TPOL. New fresh arrangements could take her songs to whole new dimensions. One example that shows the huge difference arrangement can make is one of Gagas songs. The live version absolutely kills the studio version.

I think this is what Celine needs at this point in her career, because she is stuck with particular songs, but she can make them sound totally new and fresh! Then it would also make total sense to release more live albums on CD so people can enjoy the new versions of the songs. That would be really cool, especially since she doesn’t release new albums that often anymore.

Looks like this may have something new from Céline about Drucker? Or maybe it’s just recycled quotes.

Well, this is what I’m telling way way before. I think they should go back to the “loud arrangements” like they did in TCWT. Orchestral is abit quiet.

One example of that is the River Deep, Mountain High. The loud arrangements is the one in AND and TCWT.

Not sure if they should skip the orchestra.

But I definitely agree that on some songs, especially the uptempos the orchestra don't do the songs justice.

A little bit of a backing track wouldn't hurt.

But for her ballads, ooh the orchestra is the best thing happened, and also there is difference in the 2016 'orchestra' or the stripped down version of the late years.

In 2016 they did magic on the songs. But I seriously hope that one day she will do a full on big orchestra show.

I mean, just hear this. It's sooo good!

"Tellement j'ai d'amour..." was released 40 years ago in Quebec. The album has not since been reissued on any digital format or CD. What a damn shame.
