Do you guys tried messaging Céline on instagram? I tried to message her there and but saying Team Céline instead of just Céline about releasing all her concert tours digitally on Apple TV+/iTunes (Remastered).

 

I said it's a perfect time to release it digitally with this pandemic still on going and it would be nice to watch it at home. And also I mentioned about the Courage World Tour being filmed saying it would be such a waste to not show this tour worldwide and mentioning the visuals, stage designs.. blah blah that they have done this perfectly.

I would love to have the 2016/2017 tours as Professionally released mp3 to listen to. The live Arrangements were so good!

You are forgetting her notes on I surrender, most important doing a show the day her mother passed away.

Thank you! I think singers are best distinguished in the "little things" that seem somewhat easy but are hard. Like the dynamics control that Celine does.

 

By the way do you have a favourite performance of "tous les blues"? I have been meaning to find her best versions of the big note she started doing.

I think they should add this in her anglophone setlist. Even though english speaking peeps don’t understand you’ll know there’s a story with that song. It makes you want to listen to it. It’s a beautiful song. I think they will focus at Céline while singing this song.

Wasn't Asian Tour of 2018 recorded and broadcasted in Tokyo...why didn't TC release it in YouTube for everyone? The clips shown are amazing, it has everything.

Except that they cut the Falling Into You performance, the one that's more different than the rest because of the dancing and honestly the only number I would love to watch in professional quality from that tour. I wonder why they cut it from the broadcast.

Maybe there are differences of what she actually earned for herself and what overall? But overall it must be way more than 1b right? From ticket sales, albums, singles etc...

Other point, something I recognized today: In general her albums pre 2002 have more views songwise than her self-titled album, TCOML, SSD, DMQS or Unison which all sold more back then than for example LMBTL, Courage, EUS or Miracle. I find it interesting. Maybe the younger generation like myself, which is a bit more into youtube, listens to them a bit more than to the older albums. But on the other side D'elles is lacking views like 1 fille et 4 types, TC or SA do a bit too (many songs still under 100.000 views) Edited by ordinary fan

FIY became better once they performed it a couple of times, but I seem to remember the first few times were a bit awkward and uncoordinated. With Tokyo being the very first performance, maybe it simply wasn't good enough.

But I agree, I would love some professional footage.

 

But what I *really* want is Le Ballet from 2017... 😍

I think I remember reading a lot of people didn't care for D'elles, but I could be wrong. Miracle is very Celine but its very narrow theme of motherhood makes it have a very narrow appeal, I think.

I wouldn't count Miracle as a real album, because it's a Concept album. And you can't compare her early 80s albums (in Quebec) to her current album/Sony albums. So I would exclude them.

 

English: Courage 2019

French: D'elles 2007

 

both were big flops

I don't see why it should be excluded if they asked a general question about "weakest' and "lowest". It's possible for a concept album to be someone's best album.

 

I think Loved Me Back To Life is my least favourite English album of hers besides Miracle.
