I just had a great storyy of how celine wll abruptly and dramatically end her music career on stage whenevere she wants and decide to!

Hopefully at 80. 90 + years of age....

 

It will all happenduring her biggest song: All By Myself! She will turn off the big high note back vocal, and she will try it live but willfail the note really bad, its going to crack! She will look devastated thenstart crying. ThenPeople will cheering her up, standing ovation for 2 minutes maybe 5 idk...! They will love her back to life! She will continue the song! And she will nail powerfully the last biggest note of ALl By Myself !!!people will go nuts. This will be the last time we will ever see CelineDion on stage.

 

Also im not sober so it soudns good to me but idklol

Guys, I noticed that David Foster was predominantly involved in producting the FIY album, but for LTAL they went back again to Walter Afanasief. Do we know why Afanasief was not part of FIY?

I hope they're able to squeeze this into Text for You because it deserves to be heard by MANY more people. It's one of her very best English recordings since 2002 / 2003.

I love Wicked Games so much.

It's my most listened-to song from 2020 (per my Spotify overview lol).

Her lower register is to die for...

 

Now I know this is an unpopular opinion (on this board) , but I love her doing covers.

Like, I've been having this dream about her doing a Queen tribute show and I can't stop thinking about it...i love it when she sings music she's clearly passionate about.

My bf doesn't like her English repertoire, but he loves this song, because of her voice.

Another useless article to say that we don't know whether Céline is bisexual or not. There will be an interview of a Céline biographer in Gala tomorrow (Sunday).

 

Same “biographer” that’s been cobbling her Celine books together from tabloid articles and making $ off it for years. Most of us here know more about Celine than she does.

We’ve seen her act worst before... where was it? At the beauty and the beast premier i think?

 

She been there for decades... but somewhat she’s been hidden. I wonder what other job she has. She shows up on red carpet to make sure Celine moves along and that she isn’t stucked with a greedy journalists.

It's her job to guide the celebs through the red carpet and press.

If it weren't for them things wouldn't run that smoothly and quick.

Not sure.

Most of the times it's people from that event that are assigned to the celebs.

And sometimes it could possibly also be members of her own team.

 

Their only job is to get the celeb from A to B in a short time period. Make sure they stand in the right place for cameras, make sure they walk fast enough, or slow down.

 

In the end it's a mix of the event people and people from the celebs team.

Most of the times the celebs have no clue where to go and what to do exactly.

That's why people like her are around them to guide.

If we were Celine's manager / on Celine's team, what are the biggest, day 1 tasks that we would knock out?

I feel like there's a difference between big fan dreams (like releasing rare materials) and very feasible to-do's that a manager / team should easily be able to make happen.

 

I would get the ball rolling with things like...

 

-Get the official MHWGO, BATB, & BYLM music videos uploaded to her YouTube channel. (The copyright stuff is confusing. I assume they can't upload them to her channel b/c clips from the movie are shown in the video. But Whitney Houston's IWALY has clips from The Bodyguard and that music video is on her channel.) It's crazy that some of Celine Dion's biggest official music videos aren't on her channel / aren't getting those streams.

 

-Be more strategic with getting Celine more Instagram / Twitter followers (On Instagram, Mariah has around 10 million & Madonna has around 15 million). Celine can easily gain more.

 

-Plan for a special release of These Are Special Times so Celine can be a bigger player in the holiday game each year

 

What else should Celine's team focus on?

Let her shows representing her whole career and if a tour or show is assiciated with a certain album, make sure that the setlist does like an introducing thing to the album. And try to convince Celine that a balance is needed between her biggest hits and her whole career/rare, lesser known songs to please all her fans. They should focus on the real fans more. The general public will have a blast as long as hits like MHWGO, BYLM, IACBTMN, ABM, etc are included and will come because she is Celine Dion B) . And if the biggest hits have to be represented anyway, then include all of them (speaking of IDAN, Ashes, ANDHC RR) and roate them, maybe change one or two songs every show, not all of her hits on every show. That would keep it more interesting too and would make room for more songs in general :) Edited by ordinary fan

She’s the only female artist who sings in French who is possibly more popular than her. In France at least.

She barely gives interviews. Extremely successful but very discrete.
