I am quite confused why she chose to sing the theme song from Bicentennial Man.....so soon after MHWGO, after she already didn't want to do MHWGO in part because she had already had done movie soundtracks before that she thought she couldn't top.

 

That's a good question, but I think that the song would be huge as well if the movie didn't flop, or if it was used for some other movie. The song itself is really good, and it's crazy that they cancelled the the single. Maybe it would have become a hit if they didn't associate with the movie and just released it as a regular single. The song was too good to be cancelled.

Just because some of you decided to join some private FB group doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be a dedicated thread here for the rest of us. You’ll just end up with related news being posted all over other, unrelated threads, and impossible to find in the future. There’s a reason dedicated threads exist.

I have a question, does anyone know how long celine is under contract for with AEG, I know its like 8 or 9 yrs ,or so, cant remember which?

and if so would she still perform after this ends. with a new contract

You asked why it was closed... that's why it's closed. If you don't agree with it I would suggest reaching out to a mod to discuss it with them?

I don't disagree. But it sounded to me like they just wanted to shut it down for a few days... I don't see the harm in that. If it stays closed forever that's a different story

Has a release date for Diane Warren's album been announced yet? Last I heard it was Spring 2021 I would think the actual date would have been announced by now.

I just watched the video for Ashes since ages.

A Deadpool 3 is announced.

 

Would love to see her doing the soundtrack again, or maybe even have a little role as villain.

Or victim that dies in comic way. Think it will get her some press again.

Guys! I just remembered something about Céline Dion, Whitney Houston and the other diva (I forgot her name) that there was supposed to be a show back in the late 90’s but it was cancelled because of schedule of the other divas. Since it was cancelled. Divas Live ‘98 were created.

Can you imagine Mariah in Bodyguard LOL? OK Whitney is not M. Streep, but she did a great job in Bodyguard.

And Horner had Celine in his mind, when he wrote MHWGO and he was right.

Someone should point out to them that when David Foster wrote Colour of My Love, Barbra/Whitney wanted the song....and I think a few others (not sure if Mariah was included to be honest)...but he gave it to Celine!
