Guys, I need your help with this one particular thing:

There once was a docu about the LTAL tour, and there was one moment where Celine was doing her gurgling and she named the ingredients of her liquid mixture. Can this clip be found somewhere? I am looking for it but can't find it

Ryba, is this your request?

Hi Dawn, almost :) I saw that too, but here she only mentions the carrot extract. However, there was a similar docu or interview where she had a black/red outfit from the LTAL tour and curly hair, and she mentioned all the ingredients. I’m desperately searching for that particular clip

I bought a record player... don't know much about vinyl. Any suggestions on which Celine album to buy first? 😊

You could celebrate FIY 25 and buy Falling Into You! Personally I think her 2nd album, Celine Dion, is made for vinyl. I don't have a record player, but every time I listen to that album, I think how amazing it would sound on vinyl. So rich.

Agreed!

I own the Celine Dion album on vinyl and it’s gorgeous.

Unfortunately, finding that album on vinyl isn’t easy... there’s a couple on eBay but they are pricey.

& her French albums from the 80s have so many beautiful songs. And they are easier to find on eBay.

Isn't there some website that will press any album for you on vinyl? Or did I make that up lol

Edit: how did you obtain your copy?

Why not start at the beginning of her discography and work your way to Courage? :-D

Yay! Congrats. I believe the Discogs website has a vast marketplace attached to it, where I've had most of my success. I've had quite a bit of success on eBay too, but eBay is its own animal (very easy to overspend or buy something you didn't mean to). Some of my favorites of hers are from the mid 80s. Melanie, C'est pour toi, C'est pour vivre, etc. I wouldn't pay more than $25 for any of those.

If you all could or would tattoo any Celine lyric on your body, which lyric would it be?

Encore Un Soir because I love the song and because the title perfectly represents my knack for procrastination lol

Not a lyric, but:

Only Celine can judge me.

I love both Celine and Barbra tons more than Aretha or Annie, but I think Sisters is a much more important song, and really doesn't hold a candle to TH, at least for Woman's History Month.

Is it true that this music video was filmed at a train station in Germany?

Is it true that this music video was filmed at a train station in Germany?

That fact sounds vaguely familiar. I think I remember a version of this video where facts would pop up along the way.

I wish her team would upload these old music videos in HD.

I thought I’d read it was filmed in Montréal/Mt. Royal? That is hands down one of my favourite song/video from Céline. There’s such a melancholy mood about it without being showy at all.

So '80s. I wish she would sing this song live, it could sound totally cool. Or she could make it extra sad if she chose to. Like an all-piano or NMQP mood.

I wonder in which city/town they shot it. I also think that it must have been at the same time when she recorded the 3 German songs that she was spending time in Germany, as the yinitially planned a full German album.

She recorded 3 official German songs:

Was bedeute ich dir ? (1984)

Mon ami, geh nicht fort. (1984)

Hand in Hand (1988)

And an unreleased song:

Nur das Leben (1986)

And she mentioned a future German album in a Quebec Christmas TV show.

So it could be, that she was in Germany in 1986 and recorded new German songs and the video for FCQTV for her French GH.

The German album was not released or finished, because of her big plan with Sony and Unison/English speaking market.

It looks like they were thinking in all possible directions, and initially they planned to make Celine a new Mireille Mathieu in the domain of Schlager. But then they decided to go for America with Sony and get into pop music. I'm glad they made that decision, cause otherwise she wouldn't be who and where she is today. Edited by ryba

not sure where to put this but I know its in one of the other threads not sure where

It's wonderful that Celine's getting this sort of recognition.

What an unexpected surprise.

She deserves so much respect for her music career and achievements.

I hope this respect grows and grows as more people realize what she's achieved (and what she's capable of vocally) is truly legendary.
