Based on what they've written about their other celebrity dolls, IMO the Celine doll is one of a kind and was given to Celine to keep. Their website has not been updated to include her. To sell it, they would have to get licensing permission to use Celine's image and name (which I highly doubt Aldo would grant). However, you could email them and ask if they would make one just for you! The worst they could say is no...

I don't like that Celine keeps changing her costumes from night to night in Vegas. Celine finally brought back that amazing silver dress and now, from what it looks like on instagram, she has changed the dress back to sheer dress again.

 

I just wish her team would make up there minds and stick with a solid look already. I have to say that I miss the original show she did after the twins. The costumes were all on point and there wasn't a constant back and fourth on things. It was just overall a more solid show.

I wonder if Law is having her try all the different costumes in order to see which ones to keep and what needs to be changed? I hope he puts her in that sexy black gown she wore in Jamaica (was it Versace?). The one they were fitting her for on Three Boys and a New Show.

 

She has so many beautiful things to choose from - if I were her stylist I would make her try on everything in her warehouse/closet!

She has so many beautiful things to choose from - if I were her stylist I would make her try on everything in her warehouse/closet!

I've been toying with this, and I think he probably has a few ideas up his sleeve, but I think he's trying to see which gown types/costume types work best on stage. He's probably looking into change time too, just seeing how it all works to give her the best wardrobe-- visually pleasing but not a pain in the rump to change in and out of.

 

And yep! The black gown was custom Atelier Versace!

Here's a little something that aired on CBC radio a few weeks back - pretty hilarious segment about a new Quebec law. Ends with the contestants doing karaoke versions of English pop tunes Google-translated into French.

Renowned Canadian opera singer Measha Brueggergosman takes on All by Myself (a.k.a. "Completement seule" in "Google French" LOL) about 6min into the segment.

Honestly, I would like a new Sia song but I'm not sure about a duet. I don't think it would be as good as people pan it out to be, maybe I'm wrong, but I just can't see it.

I don't want a Celine and Sia duet either. I like Sia and all, but I can't understand most of what she sings. I don't know if anyone else feels the same way, but I find that Sia mumbles when she sings. It's like listening to another language almost. LOL.

 

Celine has a tendency to mimic others voices, so I would fear that it would just end up being a duet filled with mumbling.

I agree-- and to be honest they have such different voices that I don't think it would work. Céline is big and bombastic and Sia has her qualities too, I just don't think it would work. Nothing against Sia, but let the Queen sing her own song!! :giggle:

I just can't believe yall are saying none of you want Céline to do a feat with Sia...Celine is almost 20 YEARS without a top 10 hit, a collaboration with sia now would be a hit, I don't care about their voices but I can't with the haters saying EVERY single day on twitter Celine is over because she can't chart in the hot 100 since the 90s....both of their voices are unique and we really need Celine to top Billboard charts again, I really hope she works with Sia, so the new generation will know Céline.... I don't care if it could be a smash hit or how strange it could sound, Celine said that she doesn't have to prove nothing more to herself or to music industry and that now she sings for the pleasure of sing, right? So, what could be better than a duet with a singer that she admires? I mean... In every interview she sings one different song of Sia! A song with her must be something that she would love to have in her repertoire! I would be happy! I love them both! Edited by contre5nature

If I didn't know this was Celine, I would swear that it was Giuliana Rancic of Fashion Police. With Celine's new hair and her outfit in this picture, it really gives a Giuliana Rancic vibe from behind.

I might get some backlash for saying this, but I was just watching a special on T.V. about Barbra Streisand's new duets album. On her new album, she duets with actors who aren't singers, but have good voices. I think that it would be cool for Celine to make an album like that. An album that is completely duets.

 

I know, people on here don't want Celine to do more duets. Certain fans think that it's to boring and makes Celine seem old and they think that she's already done enough duets in her career, but I think that it would bring the best out in Celine and I would really enjoy the vibe and energy of a duets album.

 

I personally think that Celine comes alive when she does duets, because she has energy to feed off of. It's not just her. Singing alongside someone else pushes herself to give her best performance, vocally and creatively. Perfect examples of this are, Tell Him and The Prayer. Both amazing duets that brought out the best of Celine's voice.

 

I enjoy hearing her harmonize and blend her voice so beautifully with someone else. I think it takes alot of talent and effort to harmonize a persons voice perfectly with another. Celine has done alot of duets over the years, but never a duets album. I think it could be really cool. Celine could call up everyone she loves in the music industry and ask them, or get Aldo to ask them if they want to be a part of it.

 

Celine could have her dream collaborations of people she hasn't sung with yet.

 

I know Sia would probably be on the top of her list. Here is my dream list of the perfect duets album,

 

Celine ft: Michael Bolton

Celine ft: Reba

Celine ft: Seal

Celine ft: Cindy Lauper

Celine ft: Carrie Underwood

Celine ft: Kieza

Celine ft: Jessie J

Celine ft: Michael Buble

Celine ft: Sia, for Celine of course (Not my first choice)

Celine ft: Genette Reno

Celine ft: RC Angelil, with background vocals of the twins :-D

Celine ft: Lady Gaga

Celine ft: Katy Perry

Celine ft: Sarah Brightman

Celine ft: A huge gospel choir

 

 

Celine would have a blast making an album like that. I can also be sure that it would get alot of attention in the media, with that much star power attached to one project.

 

In my opinion, it would be the icing on the cake if it was a Christmas duets albums. That would make me so happy! :w00t:

I have a really random thought:

 

in 3 Boys and a New Show (and I guess also recently on Fallon) Celine sang Cher's Believe lyrics as "Do you believe in love after love" - which is certainly an understandable mistake.

 

Now, didn't the writers of Always Be Your Girl say they wrote the song for her after watching the documentary?

 

"There is love after love after all"

 

Coincidence, or could the writers have taken that line after hearing Celine sing it? I know it's total speculation, but I wonder if any of you had made that connection, and whether you think there's anything to it...

 

The beautiful thing either way is how they made the lyrics their own (instead of the correct "do you believe in life after love"). No plagiarism problems there!
