Does Celine really strained these notes?

 

I have asked some haters and they said that every belting in this video was strained, but I don't think like that. I don't have many music knowledge but my ears still hear resonance on those notes, I think there are still some strained E5 in this video but almost the G5 was fine to my ears. Hope everyone who celebrated Thanksgiving had a great day :)

 

After indulging too much on Thanksgiving I decided to find some music to work off some of the calories. To my surprise I found 38 Céline songs on Comcast :clap: . Some of her french videos included -l'hymne, JSP, Le Miracle, and ONCP. A few of her english videos - Unison, Misled,You and I, My Angel, Incredible, IACBTM,BYLM . Some of the videos were live from Vegas and others were from tours throughout her career.

I was looking around on instagram to see what pics were posted of Celine today and there was a picture from the inside of some magazine. I don't know what magazine. It looked like it might be In Touch or Ok magazine perhaps.

 

Anyways, there was an article that was talking about the aging process at different ages. It was focusing on aging under the eyes and it showed pictures of different celebs in there 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's.

 

Celine and Lucy Lou were chosen for the 40's group of celebs and apparently, both Lucy and Celine like to use Nerium eye serum. I don't know how true that is, or if Celine even uses that serum for certain. I just thought it was interesting enough to share with this forum. :)

What if celine didn't turned down "I don't want to miss a thing" and "There You'll Be"? 2 movie soundracks. She recorded "Beauty and the beast", "My heart will go on", "Then you look at me". She could be hailed as The Queen of Movie Soundtracks. I want to hear her sing the 2 turned down songs. Curious how it will sound if celine is the one who sings it

Love that she's at #5.

i think that she is the most famous candian ever, we have other people who are really great, but Celine is just the more famous around the world. And i think that she reprsents well the canadian spirit. Kind but tough,

You can notice it right away because in some parts she's too early than the backing track and late in "Allllll" yet the fans still saying that It's live while others notice it already that she's lipping. Oh and there's a BOOOOOO in 0:31 HA! That's karma to the fans! especially to the one who made the bias video comparison of Celine. ooooooh so annoying! hahaha but i must say she looks cute here

It's the time of year for retrospectives, best-of lists, worst-of lists, year-in-review summaries and Top 10's.

 

So here's a question - what's your Celine Best Of for the year?

 

I think it's safe to say we'd all agree on the worst-of... can't quite believe it's been nearly a year without Rene. This upcoming Christmas, and Dec 17th, must be so hard for her. Sigh.

 

But on a brighter note - what's your Celine top moment of the year?

 

Mine is hands down RC surprising her at the Billboard awards. That was just so beautiful, and so human. We know she always likes to be prepared, but I think this is one surprise she genuinely loved. And her reaction was authentic and sincere and I think it touched a lot of people, fans or not. That, plus RC was so poised and impressive and totally proud of mom. It was just an all-around wonderful moment.
