sorry for off topic but it's about Mariah's performance in NYE.. It's a nightmare! Honestly, I feel bad for her and for her fans (i told some mimi fans to delete the bias video of celine but it's still there and i told them KARMA is a B*tch! so it's karma for them). Lip sync failed part 2

Yeah my mentions for the past 24 hours have been replies of people saying how she's an angel and they'd never seen it! Lots of outrage over the fact that she had been made fun of also. I hope the criticism she received at the time doesn't put her off from speaking like this in the future. Lots of people have tagged her twitter sending love so hopefully it gets back to her that people are finally appreciating this. Analytics on twitter say 676,000 people have seen it! Not bad! I really thought that just the few Celine fans that follow me would re-tweet it xD

 

Still so pleasantly surprised by how much traction this got. And if you look at the commentary with those 9.5k retweets (http://bit.ly/2iNw8bR), its nearly unanimously positive. What a difference 12 years make.

So glad she's finally getting long-overdue recognition here.

Yeah Americans are starting to really take notice and take a stand together when our government fails our people. Plus she just turned down Trump and a lot of people on twitter hate Trump :lol: It has finally slowed down at about 9.5k RTs & 18k likes. I hope her team saw it :P I woulda tagged her initially if I had known it would have made it out of the usual 10 RTs I get lol

I don`t know when she stopped but I can imagine she stopped playing because of Rene. In her book ` My story , My dream`, there is a picture of them playing golf and she wrote that for her and for Rene golf was a way to be together and was always a very intimate experience. I suppose she stopped playing because it must be painful.

I think that golf was more of an escape thing for her. Celine needed an outlet to feel normal and have a purpose other then singing. Now I think her kid's fill that gap, so she doesn't feel the need for golf so much anymore. Celine has found her balance and doesn't need golf as her outlet anymore. Her children make her feel whole and give her the purpose she was once searching for.

 

I also think that golf was also always more Rene's thing. I think that Celine loved golf, because Rene loved golf and it was something they could do together as a couple. Golf can also have a hint of romance to it. When couples golf, you can put your arms around each other and show the other how to hit the ball and you can give a little kiss in between rounds.

 

Celine and Rene were always so romantic, so it doesn't surprise me that they picked this sport to do together. Now that Rene isn't around to play it with her, I'm sure it would have a different meaning now and maybe wouldn't be as appealing to her. I'm sure that once Nelson and Eddy are older and she has more time on her hands, she will pick up the golf clubs again. If not, maybe she will find a new outlet of creativity to express herself. :)

here the pic from 2014 from a girl who met Celine at a golf club, and since she stopped for a while, it's because Rene is no longer playing with her I believe.

I was just watching Celine`s movie `Through The Eyes Of The World`. I hadn`t watched it for a long long time. I can honestly say the woman is amazing! Not only as an artist ,of course , but as a human being. As a singer, yes, she is one of the best.,we all know that. What really touches me is the person that she is. She is so grounded and sweet. Her relationship with her family and everyone around her is so caring. You just have to admire the woman.

Question: what promo did Celine do in the U.K. For ANDHC? I don't think I ever saw any? Just Parkinson?

 

I know there was an advert because I was off school with a broken knee and I first new about the album for that advert.... I had to have it right away!

On March 21, 2002, Celine Dion taped the show "Top of the Pops", where she performed "A new day has come" and "I'm alive", in London, UK. The show was broadcast on BBC channel in the UK on March 30. Later, she received the most expensive disc in the world, offered for her 15 millions albums and singles sold in United-Kingdom.

I did the same ! I watched it yesterday and the day before, hadn't watched it for a long time either (not sure if I ever watched it from a to z before... what a bad fan am I...), and had the same conclusion: she is truly human, she is a wonderful human being, so caring for her team, her family, her fans... this is what the driver in Paris says !

sometimes they just irritate me !

 

If they have an exclusive news, why don't they say it ?? If it's only rulmour, then what's the point ???

 

We know there will be a mini tour in non-francophone countries, so we know we have to save money !!

Nothing new. They talked to red heads :rolleyes: and they talked about the balloons after the 1000th show. They mention the new English album, the renewal of the show and that they are working on a musical. It's all copy paste from other articles.
