I think that there is a really high chance that Celine will be at the Oscars this year. With the announcement of this new song, it gives a perfect opportunity for her to perform and possibly even be nominated. The Oscars also loves Celine, she has performed at this awards show more then any other singer, so I'm sure she will probably get an invite.

He would always gravitate toward the biggest star in the room at events is all. You have to remember that although he always had the obnoxious ego he was quite liberal pre-2008. He was also quite humorous and entertaining. He's now a monster.

There was that set-any-movie-or-TV-scene-to-MHWGO thing, then there's the increasing number of sports videos (with their dedicated Twitter/ FB/ YT accounts), and now - as of this weekend - viral punching-a-Nazi-in-the-face videos, and more and more frequent stories like this...

 

Not that I mind - I mean, what Celine fan would mind reading articles ending with sentences like "I wish every montage could include this song by Dion. It’s honestly all we need in this world. And a few other things, but mainly Dion’s songbook playing in the background." - but what gives?

HMV Canada has announed that it's closing all it's stores in Canada. What a sad day as this was the last true music store in my city. We have a few locally owned ones but they don't have near the selection HMV had. It's finally the end of an era were I'll now need to order my Celine music from either Amazon or Archambault. I mean I could go to Walmart... but they have such a slim selection and nothing in French.

I just found out this news as well. I'm so sad right now. HMV was my go to music store for everything I needed. The only other place available in my area is Sunrise Records. I guess I will have to go there to buy my music now, because I just can't not have a physical C.D. to hold in my hands. Now I literally have no reason to go to my nearest mall anymore. Today really is a sad day in the world of music.

I think The Voice is a bit more credible in their selection process as they go with the blind audition process, and it's literally first and foremost about vocal ability. I believe this is why Celine may have been more inclined to participate with them.

This is different though. Celine turned down America's Got Talent and American Idol, because they were judging roles. Celine is not going to be judging anyone on The Voice. The only people that are going to be doing the judging are: Gwen, Blake, Pharrell and Adam.

 

Celine is simply there to give performance advice, like how she recently did on the French version of The Voice. Celine is probably only going to be featured in a few episodes, maybe even just 1 episode. Advisors don't have a big role on the show. Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill were advisors on The Voice last year and had a very small part on the show. I think they only appeared in 1 episode. Advisor and Judge are two totally different things.

I just found out the horrible news of the shooting in Quebec. I wish all of this violence would stop. It's pretty sad that these kinds of things are still happening in this day and age. Love is much stronger then hatred and violence will ever be. The day that everyone realizes this, the world will be a much more peaceful place to life in.

 

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the lives lost and to there families.

Super random... I just love how at the beginning of this video she asks Zhane, "Do you know where my brushes are?" and Zhane responds, "Nooooo" like an annoyed teenager. THAT is how you know Céline isn't a diva, her hair stylist can respond like an annoyed teenager to her and she still has a job. (For the record, this isn't a dig at Zhane - I think she's awesome! I just love this little interaction and think it's cute and funny.)
