I personally think it's right to put a french accent in her name. She has always defined herself as a french-speaking artist. She writes her name with an accent even in an english text.

Someone recently mentioned that ANDHC was once again available to purchase on iTunes US as the "international version," meaning that it includes "Super Love," which isn't part of the standard US release. I was just looking at Spotify US and noticed that they've added back all the albums that were removed a month or two ago (including ANDHC), and they are all the "international version," so songs like Your Light, Just Walk Away, etc are available now!

That is FANTASTIC! I always thought "Your Light" shpuld have been on ALL versions of "Falling Into You." I love that song.

According to this article (I doubt about its reliability) Celine has turned into a total workaholic person and there is danger that she is gonna collapse... The proof is the change on her face. And the reason is the death of Rene of course.

Mine too!! I think they just moved it up and pinned it for more convenience.

Do we know if Celine actually plays any instruments? Some basic piano, I guess, but anything beyond that? A bit of guitar that she's not admitting to? I think I read somewhere that she briefly took up clarinet as a kid... anything else we know of?

I've always been kind of surprised this doesn't come up... her parents, her brothers and sisters all seem to play something.

She plays piano by ear - that's been mentioned a few times and there are some videos of her playing (IIRC, she plays Moonlight Sonata on the LTAL making-of sessions)

 

There is a NY Times article about her, from 1997, that says that she keeps a Fender Stratocaster in her dressing room and "her fingernails have been pared back by practice sessions on the guitar." Don't know how to link it from my phone, but if you Google "Quebec's little girl, conquering the globe," you'll find it.

 

Course that article also says she was gonna take a year off from May '97-May '98. LOLOL!!

So sad to hear that one of Celine's sisters is going through throat cancer. I suspected that one of her sisters was battling cancer, when I recently saw a Dion family photo. I will not name what sister, because Celine didn't say her name and I don't think it's my place to do so. If Celine wants to reveal what sister it is, then she will in her own time. I will not do it for her, but I'm pretty sure I know who it is.

 

This is just so sad. My prayers go out to Celine's sister, Celine and the entire Dion family. :cry: I hope Celine's sister stays strong and has the best outcome possible. :)

So next Red Heads "mission" for her 1,000 show in Vegas is to raise 1,000 helium balloons into the air. 1 balloon = 3 € (3.000 € only in balloons); Total cost of the operation: 1.970 € (2,200 USD) :whee:

 

Have these guys ever considered to donate all these large amounts of money to one of her foundations and health causes? I'm sure Céline would be endless more appreciative than seeing 3.000 € of balloons spent + 1.970 € of operation costs (grand total of nearly 5.000 €) :confused1: :hmm:

I didn't know helium balloons are that expensive. My coworkers got them at dollar shop.

I'm not an enthusiast of their crazy fanfare activities, but if they used their ability to summon Celine Dion fans for further more profitable goals (like raising money for Céline's foundations, children causes etc), I'm 100% sure Céline would be happier and much more thankful than seeing 1,000 balloons thrown in the air in front of her by a bunch of hysterical fans, with all respects :mellow: Edited by Javito

I'm always a bit suspicious about these Red Heads efforts that require other people to give them money. . . also b/c there are never any names associated with the Red Heads. Who the heck are the people who are organizing these missions and collecting all the $$? It's all a little weird.
