Do we know anything about her Official website,,,

Criticism by artists and writers

Israeli-born musician Gene Simmons, lead singer of Kiss, said that artists who avoid Israel—such as Elvis Costello, the Pixies, and Roger Waters—would be better served directing their anger at Arab dictators. "The countries they should be boycotting are the same countries that the populations are rebelling," he said.[148] Other artists who have voiced opposition to the campaign include John Lydon,[149] Umberto Eco,[150] Joel and Ethan Coen,[151] J. K. Rowling,[152] Hilary Mantel,[152] Helen Mirren,[152] and Ziggy Marley.[153]Novelist Ian McEwan, upon being awarded the Jerusalem Prize, was urged to turn it down, but said that "If I only went to countries that I approve of, I probably would never get out of bed. [...] It's not great if everyone stops talking."[150] Creative Community for Peace, founded in late 2011, is an anti-BDS organization made up of music executives and music representatives of bands including Aerosmith, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and Justin Timberlake.[154]

Oh ok. I don't see a big issue with that.

I read somewhere that a promo tagline was used in 1992 that was something like: "Remember the name, because you'll never forget the voice." Was this used on posters or just said on a talk show or something? Does anybody have any more info of its origins and uses? Thanks!

On one of her very first, if not, the first tv appearance, that is how the talk show host introduced her. It was Michel Jasmin or Michel Drucker (one's Québécois, the other is French, I always get the two mixed up). I guess they just ran with that line, as it does ring true. It's hard to forget the first time you heard that voice. It gets under your skin, and imprints itself. 😊

I'd love to know if it's on a poster anywhere! It's such a lovely phrase!

She did at Rene's funeral didn't she? So I guess the answer would be yes. I seem to recall that Communion also featured in their wedding service.

Yeah, seems unlikely that she would associate herself with anything violent or even political.

Does she even "profit" off this?

Hm so I'm trying to dig it up.. I can only find this one, her first interview with Michel Drucker https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ce-DBwe8ZGw but he just says "remember the name".. not the rest of the phrase..!

Philadelphia, PA, Sept 5 2008.
