So 'Titanic' is once again trending worldwide right now. No clue why, but it seems setting epic sports moments to MHWGO is a bit of a meme at the moment! I've seen soccer, diving, boxing, basketball, auto racing... I don't quite get it, but no complaints!

I have just watched the movie 'Age of Adaline' and while watching 'I Love You, Goodbye' was playing in my head. It would fit this movie perfectly. Lyrics are so about poor Adaline.

I really don't think that Celine is seriously planning on getting a tattoo and scheduling it in her date book or anything. I think it was just an innocent thought she had, while being asked about her opinion on tattoos during a fan question game.

 

From what I take out of it, Celine was just flirting a little with Rene in that moment by saying she would have him on her body for the rest of her life. Celine can be a little flirty sometimes. Like during her Vegas show, shortly after Rene passed away, where she showed off her legs and said, "That was for Rene".

 

Even though Rene has crossed the bridge, Celine is still sending him messages and being flirty. It's so sweet. A perfect example of a true everlasting romance! :wub:

She says she loved LMBTL but doesn't sing it. Is it too difficult for her? I mean she loved the demo with Sia's voice on it maybe she thinks Sia should of recorded the song? I don't know, I'm grabbing at straws, lol!

I hope that Sia does write some more for her but I hope she doesn't use that "dry" voice.

I hope that Sia does write some more for her but I hope she doesn't use that "dry" voice.

I wonder if it's because it messes with her voice? She said something about it being bad for her voice because of the chorus. Or maybe it's hard to sing, because of the subject matter. Who knows though?

She did sing it a bunch of times in 2013 when it first came out . . .at Une Seule Fois, on Jimmy Kimmel, on some of the UK shows, in her Vegas show . . .

 

I think it's just a difficult song emotionally for her to sing right now. She interpreted it very literally . . . I remember her saying it was about someone in a coma waking up . . that she heard the ai-ai-ai at the beginning as the beep of a hospital monitor . . .and I think there was one talk show where the host was trying to be funny saying it was medically impossible to be loved back to life, and Celine very earnestly disagreed with him.

 

This is total speculation, but I think there was a little part of Celine (an emotional, not rational part, that I'm sure we all have) that thought she could love Rene so much that she could love him back to life.. But she couldn't, because that's reality. So I think it would be hard for her to sing that song right now.

Yeah that's what I meant by it being difficult for her to sing. It just has to much baggage with it. Yes it was her interview with Jimmy Kimmel where he was trying to be funny and she set him straight. :)

I've started a new feature on my Twitter page called "Joe Nielsen's 'Must-Hear Songs.'" For its debut week, I have included Celine's "Then You Look At Me." This song brought me to tears the very first time I heard it. It moved and inspired me, and made me yearn for a live performance of the song someday. Feel free to "like" or retweet the below tweet. I just had a thought - As you can see from my profile picture I love parrots, those are my two. I was wondering if Céline ever posed for a picture with a parrot? I did a google search but nothing came up. She doesn't seem much of an animal lover?

I had a grey. Such beautiful and extremely intelligent birds! I had him for 8 years.
