I read somewhere that a promo tagline was used in 1992 that was something like: "Remember the name, because you'll never forget the voice." Was this used on posters or just said on a talk show or something? Does anybody have any more info of its origins and uses? Thanks!

I thought it was Regis and Kathie Lee or Jay Leno? I remember them saying it on one of those shows!

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

No, it's real. There's a picture of her in the same dress in the TC program book. I am not a fan of that pose, but it is real.

I just noticed celinefan.org is no longer running. I don't know what source we have for archived Celine photos now, other than the forum's gallery....

Celine maniacs use to be a great site to go on for Celine pictures and other Celine related things. Back in the day I visited that site all the time for my Celine info and pics, until I discovered this amazing forum that blew every other site out of the water in comparison. :-D

 

The forum gallery should be more active with the latest pics though. I miss how it used to be updated all the time. I remember when Celine use to go on vacation or go to NYC or Paris and the gallery would be so active with the latest pics.

 

We didn't even need to start topics for picture sharing back then. It was awesome.

I noticed that there is a lovely new pic on instagram of Celine with her three nieces: Andrea, Laurence and Sara-Jeanne. (Daughter's of Pauline Dion)

 

I have never seen them before. It's really a lovely picture of Celine, but knowing she is posing alongside her nieces makes the pic that much more special. :wub: If anyone wouldn't mind, could you please be so kind to post the pic I'm referring to, to the forum?

Does exist some "Because You Loved Me" dance remix with Celine voice?

 

Btw I'm not mega mega (except LMBTL album - live THIS :) ) so I'm confused if is it Celine voice tbh, don't drag me please for this.

 

Btw- 90% of threads are not available after 10000yrs so it could be better unlock all threads without any approve and then delete 'spam' threads in some cases.

And now I weirdly find myself Instagram stalking Celine's niece. Nice to see that she is a big fan or her aunt though!

Laurence is very pretty and so are Pauline's other daughters. I have never seen her kids before. I think the shorter one resembles Pauline the most. :)

Regarding the line, "remember the name because you'll never forget the voice" didn't Rene say that? I feel like I heard somewhere that the line originated with him. It wouldn't surprise me if it did!

Anyone Else Noticed Celine's iTunes Store Isn't That Good...

 

The U.K. ITunes for her isn't that good, they sell almost all her studio albums but you find that after awhile they remove a lot of them, or they'll remove the hits albums. Plus very little singles/EPs!

I couldn't really find the best place for me to post this story, so I'm posting it here. I work at a call center :suicide: :suicide: :suicide: :suicide: :suicide: :suicide: , and today we had some visitors who "shadowed" us to see what our job was like. I had already had a few annoying calls for the day, so I wasn't too happy to be saddled with someone for the day. (Besides, it also means I have to be on my best behavior, which isn't always easy :giggle: lol). So, they decided to have an older gentleman in his 60s sit with me. I forced a smile, thinking it already wasn't going to go well. He was a nice man, but I didn't see him being very appreciative of my flamboyant quirkiness :innocent: . I happened to have a small picture of Celine in my cubicle that someone had given me as a "good luck charm" and the man happened to see it. To my surprise, he said; "You're a fan of Celine Dion?" I said yes, thinking in my head that he really had no idea how big a fan :sofunny: . He then went on to say that she was a beautiful woman and had a lovely voice. He liked her music and thought she was better than most of the new music that comes out today. Pleasantly surprised by his reaction, I told him about her new French album that came out, and gave him a brief history on her French career. Although it was just a fairly short conversation about her, it made my day a little better and reminded me not to judge a book by its cover. You never know where the next Celine Dion fan may come from. ;) Hope you're all having a good night! Encore un soir!

I wish we would know sth more about Celine more distant family. We only get brothers and sisters... And it's interesting to see her with her nieces! They have something from Celine in their look as well :blush:

Okay. Yall will think I'm crazy but I decides to start a vinyl collection and order some singles and what not.... but im embarrassed to admit it's taken me this long to hear the song cry just a little. I quite like it. Kinda got that same real emotion/misled/any other way up tempo vibe of her early 90s songs.

Deverstated that I've knocked off a celine mug today and smashed it! Couldn't believe it!! Was thankful it wasn't something else In The collection though!
