Does anybody know if there are any major differences between the English/French versions of A New Day... and Through The Eyes Of The World DVDs? (i.e., is it worth buying both?) x0x0

 

Basically they are the same. Same situations in both English and French version of TTEOTW.

So I've been dating this girl for about a month now, and be just found out about my celine obsession (I don't tell a lot of people about it!). Her reply was "she's still around? I didn't know she was still singing."

 

I have so much work to do. Gotta educate her now.

I don't know if u guys know but the blond background singer from a new day and TC tour was the background singer on wold children's day! I wonder if that's where celine met her and asked her to do a new day?

This is inaccurate. While they are filmed in the same places, the situations are not the same. Especially the fan meetings. She goes into a little more depth about AND in the French interviews than she does in the English

The Canadian version has the same track listing as the French release, Des mots qui sonnent.

 

The French, the international (US, Japan), and the Canadian versions all have different covers.

iTunes USA is so irritating . . they have so little of Celine's French music. I've fallen in love with On S'est Aime a Cause after seeing the D'elles TV special someone posted, and I wanted to buy it, but it's not available (none of D'elles is - one of the few Celine CDs i don't have!) But there is a cover version of On S'est Aime A Cause from Star Academie 2009 available! How can that be on there and not Celine's original?!?!

 

However, the 1992 Celine Dion album appears to be on sale - whole album only $ 5.99 - if anyone doesn't already have it!

I came across this article from style magazine W from '07 (I believe) about her and the red carpet, She says, "I just want to do music and perform for people who want to see me performing.

"I don't want people to say to me, 'Are those diamonds yours? Did you borrow them?' I can pay for my own diamonds, and I don't need to wear the necklace of the year.

"I don't need that s**t, so I don't want to walk on the red carpet. If nobody wants to dress me because they want publicity, well, I'm sorry."

 

I don't know why but I love it! Don't tick her off! :wub:

Yeah, I love this as well :) She's successful as a mother, as a singer, and with the kid on her arm she's an exceptional earner... :giggle: Still there always will be she-might-have-done-better fans. Like sing better or dress better or smth else... :)

A couple weeks ago, I was in New York City at the Today Show, and Lionel Richie was there. He came outside and I even got to shake his hand. It was really exciting, but I could only list about two of his songs. This made me wonder about how there must be people who are obsessed with Lionel Richie the same way I am about Celine, and how there must be people who would be so jealous to be in my spot that day, because if Celine were to shake the hand of someone who could only list MHWGO as something she sings (which is what the majority of her non-fans think of when they hear her name), I would be extremely jealous. They wouldn't "deserve" it, nor would they appreciate it enough.

 

Sorry for the rant, but hey, its the "topic for random" right?! :)

I used to read King a lot before. But then there was 'Dreamcather' and 'From a Buick 8' and neither of 'em worked for me and I stopped reading him and switched to Tess Gerritsen... So this book which you're guys talking about - 22/11/63 - u say it's really worth readin'?? :)

I have been reading it off and on because I am currently rereading the entire Game of Thrones books but yes its quite good in my opinion!

i finished it today...it is very good, but quite long...and the end is somewhat previsible. I'm not a stephen king expert.

I read 11/22/63 last year despite not being a Stephen King fan. It kept my interest although I would have omitted 200 hundred pages.. Definitately worth reading if you enjoy time travel. Sorry, this is REALLY off topic.

Another great night at Celine, apart from the big fights in Front Orchestra 4 in the middle of 'All By Myself'- Celine handled it like a pro this is coming from a fan that was there last night
