So that means then that nez Partez Pas Sans Moi had to have been written by a Swiss composer then, right?

i did not know that EuroVision held more than just her winning it for Celine. That is so cute about her and Rene. I hope she was still somewhat excited about winning that, but also about winning Rene. Hope they celebrated yesterday!!

every european country can ask a famous star to sing for their country. Only the song needs to be made in the country. for example:

I am from the Netherlands, Celine comes out for our country and sings a song from a dutch composer!

Thanks for explaining that. I've always been confused about the rules of Eurovision. Is it still popular in Europe today?

A lot of people are still watching it is just fun! For what I have heard, but not the artists coming out for my country :down: I am not a fan at all!!

I've been facinated by wanting to see her and Rene's wedding for many years, but never asked about it because I've always known I wouldn't understand a word of it. But I would love to hear it anyway and have someone describe to me what she looked like/her facial expressions!

Yes, I know. But I meant that the contest is not only made for countries in Europe, even thoug the name is EUROVISION. Here's the info:

 

Eligibility to participate is not determined by geographic inclusion within the continent of Europe, despite the "Euro" in "Eurovision" — nor does it have any relation to the European Union. Several countries geographically outside the boundaries of Europe have competed: Israel, Cyprus, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan in Western Asia, since 1973, 1981, 2006, 2007 and 2008 respectively; and Morocco, in North Africa, in the 1980 competition alone. In addition, Turkey and Russia, which are both transcontinental countries with most of their territory outside of Europe, have competed respectively since 1975 and 1994.[26]

Did I read somewhere that we could change the look of the site on our computers? I still have the winter stuff going on on mine and I was wondering if it was just me or if the moderators just haven't changed the look of the site.

At the very bottom on the left, click the list where it says "Frosty" and choose the skin you'd like :thumbsup:

I think you can see some videos on YT... But I haven't found the whole wedding to see... It was broadcasted on Canada, so somebody must have recorded it...

I had a dream about the vegas show.... AGAIN! I was at the premier, but Celine had short blond hair again! Almost an amazing dream turned nightmare :P Ahhhh how I want to go back so badly. The PVD has STILL got me good.

 

Maybe I could fly in for just one night stay somewhere cheap and go to the show again :lol:

 

Oh Celine :wub: I love you too much if it's at all possible :P

& Nooo! I was sitting here looking at tickets, and was going to check the schedule at work tomorrow and book a trip + buy a ticket if it was still available by the time I made a decision, but it's gone already within about two minutes of me finding it. WTF this ticket needs to come back! :lol: COME BACK! Jack! COME BACK THERES A BOAT! JAAACK!
