What's the difference between D'eux and The French Album. They seem to have the same songs and I know it was a HUGE album for Celine. If I were to get just one which one should I get? I only speak english but I'm learning french and I really don't care as long as the songs are the same. I'll eventually get both but for now? Any real defferences other than language of the prints?

It is the "same" album, but I'd recommend getting D'eux instead of The French Album. D'eux has more photos, includes the song lyrics and the song titles on the back insert are easier to read.

I would say D'eux just because it's really THE original one. :)

Elton John is returning to Caesars Palace starting September 28th for a 3 year gig with his new upcoming show "The Million $ Piano." The show is set to include audience participation. Plus, talks of Shania Twain coming on board are getting stronger as each month passes. It looks like the "free time" The Colosseum has between Celine's performances is going to be eaten up very soon. If anybody was hoping for additional shows to be added, I'm afraid you may be out of luck.

Anyone see Britain's Got Talent on Saturday??

Brilliant at the end when the couple played MHWGO on the handbells!! :P The audience were doing the "Kate Winslet" pose, swaying in their seats - and then singing the chorus!! :w00t: Then Michael McIntyre said they played the nation's favourite song!! :clap: Occasionally the UK really surprises me - in a good way! :-D Even better they played Celine singing it at the end as the couple walked off the stage. :wub:

Wow, that was amazing. They really do love each other and I hope they make it far in the contest.

So cool also to hear the whole audience singing that song, for a minute it was like a Celine conert as that's what they do for/to/with her. Sehe would have been very moved/proud of/by that!

And it's so funny, every time I hear people singing her song, or find out that they love her, too, it'd not that I still think I am the only one who loves her as I know differently now, but it's still like wow, they're singing her, wow, they really love her, my/our Celine they're in to now, like it atill amazes me the love people have for her, not that I think I am the only one, especially now since i'm here.

I knew she always had a cd player but isn't it easier to have an IPod or an MP3 player? I'm nit judging or anything but isn't it more convenient?

Concert Review: Celine Dion

Canadian Airlines Saddledome, Calgary - Oct 7, 1998

 

........during the encore, she endeared herself even more.

 

Railings were added to the tip of the heart, turning it into the bow of the Titanic.

 

But when she started singing the Titanic hit, My Heart Will Go On, the centre platform failed to raise her higher than chest level. She was left in the hole, with just her head and shoulders sticking out.

 

After a shrug of her shoulders, she flung herself up and out -- all while wearing a full-skirted period gown.

This made me laugh, imagine her pulling herself up through the stage wearing a huge ballgown! :sofunny: :laugh: I loved that she just carried on when things go wrong, such a pro.
