So need some help guys, am I right in thinking that Celine was once to perform in Belfast, NI? But it was cancelled due to Rene's illness. Can anyone confirm and perhaps tell me where in Belfast the concert should have took place?

Yes, she was going to perform at the Botanic Gardens in Belfast on May 29, 1999 during the LTAL tour.

 

Out of interest, here's the press release when Celine had to cancel the shows. As you can see from the dates they mention, they had to cancel more shows than they had planned.

CELINE DION'S HUSBAND/MANAGER, RENE ANGELIL, DOING WELL AFTER SURGERY

 

ARTIST WILL POSTPONE SEVERAL NORTH AMERICAN DATES

 

While Celine Dion was on tour in Dallas last week, her husband and manager, René Angelil, was briefly hospitalized there for a surgical procedure. Dion's husband was under the care of highly respected Dallas physician, Dr. Robert M. Steckler. Dr. Steckler had this to say about the surgery, "Mr. Angelil has had surgery performed for Squamous Cell Carcinoma Metastatic to his right neck. He has tolerated the procedure very well and his prognosis is excellent." Mr. Angelil was released from the hospital last week and will undergo 6 weeks of radiation therapy.

 

Earlier today, Celine released this statement: "Obviously, this is a very delicate time for René and I, but we have been blessed with some of the best medical attention in the world. René is the biggest priority in my life and I want to be by his side as he continues his treatment. I hope my fans will understand and support me in this difficult situation."

 

The scheduled concerts from April 13th through May 7th inclusively will be rescheduled to the Fall season and the new dates will be announced imminently in each individual market.

6 would be good! The middle Orchs are the best, so if you can get those do it, but I sat in 2 which would be similar to 6 and I was surprised with how amazingly great they were even off to the side a bit!

I myself got tickets on vegas.com but with that you don't know your seats until you pick them up.

I do think ticketmaster would be your best option

Let me tell you, it is IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Its not a nasty word i wouldn't say anything nasty about celine. Its basically the word Orgasm and Celine put together.. do the math. Gosh.

Melissa, you do not at all sound dumb. I can tell you I joined here for the exact same reason you have. I am not on Facebook so can't add you, but would "if I could." Just want to reassure you that there are sooooo many of us out there. And, if this feeling does not go away by the time you make it to see her, just listen out there to all the fans and their incredible love for her and you will know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are not alone. That's how I knew i wasn't, I heard the way fans are wtih/around/near her. Being in her presence is the most amazing thing ever, and if you still feel like this then, you will not when you are done.

I also sometimes feel like all these people have great relationships because they have met in person and I never have. but I take what I can get, and what you will get here hopefully, is awesome.
