Wow, she cut her finger on her dress. How/when was that?

I have to say that, The Show must go On is a perfect song for her to have sung...she Lives it. It's kinda become my moto for live performing because of her. No matter what, no matter the mistake you make no matter how bad or obvious/noticeable you think it is, no one will wait, althought they would for her but you get my point, and, always, the show Must go on!!!

You see it in CTTEOTW. She's singing Ziggy and she's thinking that her finger is hot. When she looks at it, you can see the surprise in her face but she keeps singing. The blood is running down her hand and everything! It was a special moment! :)

Or like when she fell off onstage at Montreal... and she said "score" !! hahaha... That shows to us the strengh that this woman has. Or like when she sang WAWW the day her father passed away. That moment was so incredible. I just can't stop admiring her. :heart:

Does anyone know why Celine and Rene were in an argument during the recording of All By Myself on the album FIY, that caused Rene not to go to the recording session? :o

I heard once that Celine supposebly got really angry because she thought she couldn't do that song. It was frustrating to all involved because it's freaking Celine and she should never doubt herself lol.

She's too self-conscious. She can do any note. Her chest voice is so amazing...that note shouldn't have scared her.

Ironically that's what makes us love her more, is that she makes it seem like she's a normal person in how self-conscious she is, unlike every other modern-day celebrity. When in reality, Celine can do anything, literally :yes:

Exactly, she's human just like the rest of us. We all have flaws, but we also all have talents. And Celine has taught so many to embrace that. :)

The way I heard it...Celine did not think she could hit that note, I agree with you all on what has been expressed here...so apparently, Rene started a fight with her to get her so angry that she channeled that in to the note.

Has anyone ever heard that?

I think it was My Story, My Dream or something. Someone who has it told me that it was from there, but I wish I could read it. I wish it was in audio for blind people who totally love her as much as I do!

BTW, this is my 300th post. I am amazed by my time here and by how often I am here and how often I post. Wow!!

I just wanted to share that while I was watching Oprah's show today (The Royal Wedding show), Celine was on. As most of you guys know, Oprah's show is almost to an end :( and at the end of every show they show celebrities who have been good friends of Oprah and BAMM! Celine was there and she said some nice things about Oprah and stuff :D

The twins were born on Oct. 23 so I think they're 6 months old.

I just found out on celineDion.com that 23 years ago on this day in Dublin, Celine won the EuroVision. I love the song she did, still wish I knew why she represented Switzerland and not her home country, but since I don't think there's a thread about it, I thought I'd mention that here.

Our singer is a winner, eh guys?

The Eurovision Song Contest is only open to European countries. That rule doesn't apply to the artists performing though. Maybe someone else can tell us how/why Céline came to be chosen to sing Switzerland's entry. Glad she did though!

every european country can ask a famous star to sing for their country. Only the song needs to be made in the country. for example:

I am from the Netherlands, Celine comes out for our country and sings a song from a dutch composer!
