I was sitting here looking at tickets, and was going to check the schedule at work tomorrow and book a trip + buy a ticket if it was still available by the time I made a decision, but it's gone already within about two minutes of me finding it. WTF this ticket needs to come back! :lol: COME BACK! Jack! COME BACK THERES A BOAT! JAAACK!

I had a dream about the vegas show.... AGAIN! I was at the premier, but Celine had short blond hair again! Almost an amazing dream turned nightmare

I have a random question. Does anyone know where I can find the YouTube video of the guy doing that rap during Love Can Move Mountains? I saw it once on the New Day DVD a friend has, but for many years now I have been wanting to hear it again to see what it was he was saying about her. It was beautiful, lovely and cute and I think now I would appreciate it even more as I am a bigger fan. I think I remember him mentioning Unison as her very first album, and something about her voice being able to move mountains which is soooooooooooooooo true. So just wondering if anyone had any info...

Yes, thanks for posting the way to download that song. It is sooooooooooo amazing, yes especially toward the end. And, like most parts with her, what I loved most about it was that she meant it, sincerely!

The rap is actually from a dance mix of Unison originally, released in 1990.

 

 

The lyrics are a variation on this:

I'm bummed. I've been watching Oprah Season 25. Behind the scenes. I realized that they won't be doing a behind the scenes show of when Celine was on. That sucks. I was hoping there would be.

Inspired by the rap in LCMM and Unison, I have decided to write one of my own.

 

Her very first album was Unisonm

It went from the bottom, to number one,

And a New Day has finally come,

Since the birth of her very first son.

All by herself, she ain't somehow,

Cuzz it's all coming back to her now,

She's a miracle, what a wonderful world,

Our one and only Canadian girl,

she's not alone, to love her more,

We've just begun, like never before,

So remember this miss Celine dion,

Our love, your heart will go on and on.

Not long. Thanks, glad you all like it, it just sorta cam out like my poetry to her does. I do think still I am the only weird/lame/pathetic person in existance because I write poetry to/for/about/because of her!

That sounds right. Wasn't this all documented in a book?

 

 

I think it was My Story, My Dream or something. Someone who has it told me that it was from there, but I wish I could read it. I wish it was in audio for blind people who totally love her as much as I do!

BTW, this is my 300th post. I am amazed by my time here and by how often I am here and how often I post. Wow!!

 

 

Haha! Sorry! I should've posted sooner. I read about this in Celine: The Authorized biography. It didn't say why they were fighting, but it said she went alone to the recording studio because they got into a fight. David had told her before she recorded the song that he had changed the key to make it even higher and that if she couldn't sing it, it was ok and that he'd just have like Whitney Houston sing it becuase she could sing it without trouble, of course making Celine even more angry. So she was mad while she sang the song! She was turned and facing the wall when she sang. And if I remember correctly, she only had to sing it once. All the musicians were crying, of course :) Then, she immediatley left the studio. While she was on her way home, David called Rene and told him that she sung it perfectly and that NOBODY could've sang it like that :) When Celine got home, she immediately fell into Rene's arms crying. Correct me if I'm wrong! lol! I just read that in my book a couple of weeks ago! :)
