jepoi Posted July 6, 2019 at 08:45 PM Posted July 6, 2019 at 08:45 PM I don't like how she sounds in this pro footage. Her vocals sound isolated or separate from the band if you know what i mean. The magic is kind of lost. I hope if they do release an official pro footage of the concert, it won't be like this. professional footage: https://www.instagram.com/p/BzlKjo4Ftcf/?igshid=x2i5fuqupbid Quote

I think she did own her own plane from the mid 90s, (in one of her FIY era documentaries the presenter said it was Celines own private plane) until (i think) 2011 when i believe she got a Caesars Plane, however since 2017 i believe shes been hiring Edited July 6, 2019 at 09:39 PM by AdrienneM Quote

In fact, the hotel currently has an exhibition to celebrate the 50th anniversary - so it's pretty good timing! 1 Quote
mirage Posted July 6, 2019 at 09:57 PM Posted July 6, 2019 at 09:57 PM Lol apparently I was standing behind you guys in the soo good organized waiting line! You guys ended up with a good spot as well! Not a fan at all of a standing concert, but damn the whole energy it brought to her performance, made the whole Vegas setlist disappointment disappear. She was on fire!! Safe to say this was one of the best experiences of my life. Front row (more or less) and just incredible. There is no one like Céline. The way she owns the stage. And her voice. It was flawless- really just amazing. London loves her- the whole UK does. Such an amazing night. New BFF in Darren and James and Kevin 💙💚💛 2 Quote

Quite a few pictures of Adele have surfaced on various social media and in tabloids. She was there with Nicole Richie, among others, and looked to be having a grand time! Oh, and apparently that was a Vetements sweatshirt she was wearing as well - they seem to have a thing for Titanic!https://www.instagram.com/p/BzlbGflimEU/ Edited July 6, 2019 at 10:08 PM by scielle 2 Quote

empress Posted July 6, 2019 at 11:26 PM Posted July 6, 2019 at 11:26 PM Loved it all! Outfits were beautiful...or interesting. I get weary of the adlib singing stuff.... al little goes a long way. Other than that, for not being there and only seeing the videos you all graciously have shared, it looked like a very fun concert. Hopefully, her Courage tour will be a lot of new songs to interest us all!! Thanks again everyone. I really appreciate the taping! Quote
fred Posted July 6, 2019 at 11:37 PM Posted July 6, 2019 at 11:37 PM The costumes were amazing!! I don't think she ever dressed this good for an entire concert! And the colours, wow. What a relief to get id of the Vegas gold suit. 4 Quote Peace and love to all.
homerton Posted July 6, 2019 at 11:49 PM Posted July 6, 2019 at 11:49 PM This was wonderful. Celine is loved. I can’t wait for the new tour. Hoping she does leeds again it was a fabulous night. Or Manchester no other modern day singer compares. Look at the reason. Still as good twenty years on. Now name another who can top that. No one. Rene gave us celine. I’m sure he’s very proud looking on. A role model to us all xx. She’s now respected as the icon she is. A musical powerhouse. Well done celine. Wonderful night. Thank you for coming to the U.K. see u soon x 2 Quote
fred Posted July 7, 2019 at 12:06 AM Posted July 7, 2019 at 12:06 AM (edited) I've watched the faboulus The Reason and Think Twice. Also checked out Imagine, it was nice but not as amazing as I thought it would be. Also checked out FOMO - people sang along!!! As they did in other songs - why don't we get this in he live releases? Don't the audience sing along in those concerts? I love to hear it when it comes spontanious like this - it's a bit cringe when she plans for it like in BYLM. Which songs were live? So I know which ones are alos worth checking out. And question for those who went: how was FOMO working live? (BTW she was so adorable singing "the warmer winds will scary me") Edited July 7, 2019 at 12:09 AM by fred Quote Peace and love to all.

Jeanette Posted July 7, 2019 at 01:27 AM Posted July 7, 2019 at 01:27 AM What a night!!! I’m shattered, slightly burnt, a wee bit hungover but also so bloody lucky and privileged to have been there with some incredible members of this forum... A huge thanks again to Stevo, you are a legend!!!! It was amazing to see FOMO live, my favourite song TTWII, loved how she changed up PQTME slightly, but loved imagine... and the through back crowd shots from a new day when she performed WAWW, I got serious goosebumps and we even appeared on the screen!!!! Also can’t believe Sam Smith was only a few rows behind us!!!! I’m still on such a high Glad you enjoyed, bet you’re glad you went now!! She was on fire and the crowd were singing along so loud, at times she was almost drowned out by them but it all added to the atmosphere. I managed to get second row in Gold Circle and was more than happy with my view. I stood in that same spot from just after 1pm, only moving once for a toilet break and a beer and quick bite. My feet have never been in so much pain by the end but she was so worth it. Honestly, I wouldn’t do that for anyone but her. Vegas setlist blah blah blah. Yes we wanted to witness something totally new and unexpected but in the end this show had just enough of everything and the crowd lapped it up. Imagine at the end had me in tears and was the surprise of the night for me. It was funny when earlier in the day Claire Richards (who was also fab) said at this point in the setlist I usually do a cover and it’s RDMH but no way was she gonna step on Celine’s toes and then Josh came out and sang SOTR and I thought f***, this is gonna be a damp squib of an ending to Celine’s show but she pulled out all the stops to make sure that didn’t happen and I’m glad I got to witness what I hope will be a one time thing. My only small gripe was she could easily have added in the string quartet section cos she finished a good 20 mins earlier than her time, perhaps because she kept her talking to a minimum compared to the last few shows I’ve seen. The pride coloured outfits were fitting, I only realised that this morning and thought it was very tasteful. More Celine memories made and ready now for the next chapter. Bring on the Courage World Tour!! 2 Quote
Jeanette Posted July 7, 2019 at 01:43 AM Posted July 7, 2019 at 01:43 AM The stage was high wasn't it. I wasn't disappointed to have paid less and been at the front of the Gold Circle partly for that reason. I had a great view and wasn't having to look up. Exactly and Diamond section wasn’t that big so we weren’t too far behind. I was so happy with my spot. It was worth the burning feet and swollen ankles. Quote

scielle Posted July 7, 2019 at 03:30 AM Posted July 7, 2019 at 03:30 AM I'm guessing it's some quiet family time before she starts tour rehearsals. Wonder if she'll keep a low profile or make some appearances while here. I suspect the latter - she'll probably want to keep people at least somewhat warm, in prep for both tour and album. I noticed today Buble has shows at Bell Center on Aug 1st and 2nd, and J-Lo's here on Jul 10 - maybe she'll go! She seems to be into seeing other people's shows these days, so you never know. 1 Quote

So I know which ones are alos worth checking out. And question for those who went: how was FOMO working live? (BTW she was so adorable singing "the warmer winds will scary me") I’d say everything was live except the usual - TPOL after first verse, BYLM, IACBTMN, TLYM, ABM climax, MHWGO climax, and most (or all) of FOMO. My heart is in my throat when she lips, especially entire songs. I attended the Paris show on 30 Nov 2013 when the audio for MHWGO messed up. I’m fairly certain she lipped the entire song in those days and my stomach just turned. As soon as she was meant to start singing, this awful mechanical sound came through and she had to stop the song. She handled it incredibly well and, if you didn’t know any different, you’d think it was just a feed problem. I’m not sure what she would do if something like this (or worse) happened again. And I have no idea how it works or how they make the transition from live to lipped seem so smooth! When the intro to TR started and she stopped the song saying “it’s bit okay” I was worried she was going to lip and the audio in her ear was not working or something, especially when she took a while to say what she had to say about George Martin (have to say, I was a bit embarrassed by the crowd’s lacklustre response at this point) but then the song started again and she smashed it to pieces! As for FOMO, I think it worked really well! And the crowd loved it. You could see the surprise (and excitement) in Celine’s face when the crowd joined in. The green dress liked great, blowing “on the winds of change” but it did restrict her movements. If she had been wearing one of the jumpsuits, she’d have been jumping around like crazy I’m sure!
