My friend (a non Celine fan who only likes Eyes on Me and How does a moment last forever) sent me the Instagram post of the Siriano number and was shocked and amazed at how good she looks. So that just goes to show for all the people who say “she’s gone off the deep end” or she “isn’t classy anymore”, that she is very much knows what she’s doing and what she wears. It’s amazing actually!

I think she has successfully shed the "guilty pleasure" label. People unabashedly show their love for her now in a way they perhaps didn't in the past. She has tapped into the zeitgeist and is doing brilliantly. Rene would be proud!

I feel like she’s become the “cool kid on the block”. Not that she hasn’t been, heck look at the 90’s! But I think people are starting to realize what a living legend she really is. Because she’s been going, what, almost 40 years and still has the burning passion as when she first started. It’s quite amazing actually and that’s why I love her the way I do!

Yeah. I think a lot of people who gave her a hard time in the past realize that she's the real deal and has lasted this long for a reason. I think there are still many who don't care for her songs per se (I'm amongst them, when it comes to much of the English repertoire, mind you), but who appreciate that she has the raw talent to elevate even the most banal material.

That, plus many who saw her as bland and a marketing creation with no personality, have recently realized that she's quite the opposite. As much as I'm seeing commentary along the lines of "OMG, she can still sing", there's equally many comments like "OMG, she's hilarious".

I think selling out Vegas and giving birth to “Residency” concept played a huge role in that.

I think she went early 2018, before she had the break for her ear surgery. So she didn't see Ashes. So Ashes, TTWII, YTV, TR, TT, TLYM, FOMO, and Imagine were all new for her. Also I'm Alive because I think before it was in the acoustic medley.

 

Pretty much a totally new show imo.

I just watched the entire concert on YouTube. So thankful for all the fan videos! How lucky we are to have such quick access to these videos!

 

The concert was fabulous. The setlist was perfect for this setting & I was definitely jealous! I would’ve loved to be there. The crowd was eating up every second of it. Celine looked & sounded larger than life. Truly iconic. She seemed genuinely moved many times during the show by the crowd’s warm reception.

 

What a tremendous success this show was! I hope it gets Celine all the more excited to release her new music & embark on the Courage World Tour. She needs to feel the love OUTSIDE of Vegas — because the world is loving her right now. For her voice. For her originality. For her longevity. And for her strength.

 

She is a living legend and, based on the crowd at Hyde Park, everybody knows it.

Safe to say this was one of the best experiences of my life. Front row (more or less) and just incredible. There is no one like Céline. The way she owns the stage. And her voice. It was flawless- really just amazing. London loves her- the whole UK does. Such an amazing night. New BFF in Darren and James and Kevin 💙💚💛

From the clips I've seen, she was loving it (even wiping a tear in one) - I think she didn't expect quite this level of love.

She should play more festivals - there's clearly the demand for it!

what always strikes me how humble she is! despite of being one of the greatest singers on earth she has always been grateful, never pretentious and humble to her audiences:)
