Wow!!!!

 

I knew she was doing Vegas on Wheels.

But that woman has the power to make you just forget it all. :giggle:

 

What a day!!!

I wasn't looking forward all the waiting and standing.

But it was soooo much fun, the weather was good, luckily it was a bit cloudy otherwise the sun would burn you away.

 

Everyone was sitting and chilling in the diamond circle. Got some food, drinks. Time flew!!

Great atmosphere among the nice celine fans.

 

During Josh the people who just arrived sneaked their way to almost the front and that caused a lot of problems between the ones who were waiting since 9 in the morning.

 

It's so annoying you just stand there all day long, and people who just entered the park feel like they can stand in front of you.

 

Yes it's the Vegas setlist, yes it's the same old. Yes it's the same ending.

 

But the crowd was freaking loving every minute of it.

I don't like standing concerts, but damn n that atmosphere can't be made with a seating concert.

Everyone was dancing and singing along.

 

I have my thoughts about LCCM/RDMH but you need to experience it. It works soooo good, the crowd LOVES IT.

 

FOMO was amazing, great response from the crowd.

 

I didn't expect a whole new setlist, but maybe more new songs. Overall it was good.

 

She looked AMAZING. Normally I'm camp no-bun but she rocked it. I also think it was waaaaay to warm and windy for long golden locks.

And she was epic coming out with sunglasses.

The clothes were soooooo much better than the last 2 tours.

I’m still on a high...

I had been worried about ticket sales. It seemed BST seemed more interested in promoting Barbra and Robbie Williams.

I also overheard some ignorant remarks about Celine on my way to the venue.

 

However, the queen slayed. As always. And the crowd lapped it up. Not everyone there was a hardcore fan and not everybody will have been to Vegas so for them it was all new. In fact, I’d guess that many people were surprised how many songs they new and to hear the crowd sing just illustrates what the woman is capable of! I’d say even Celine was blown away by the response to some songs outside of the usual crowd pleasers.

 

It was unrealistic to expect an overhauled show for one concert so soon after Vegas, especially as many fans (and non-fans) didn’t get to the Colosseum. As much as I’d have loved a few different songs, the changes were got were great - and I’m glad to say she didn’t do the whole Ryan Reynolds speech... it was just the right amount of talking!

 

Anyway, being there tonight , it felt like really being part of this Celine renaissance and it really is something special.

Her voice sounded amazing, her outfits were 🌈 fabulous 🏳️‍🌈 ! Most important, people seemed to have a lot of fun! Festival outside of Quebec, its always nice to see so many people at the rendez-vous!

 

Hoping for a Netflix documentary to come out to keep us waiting for the album. We just can’t be left hanging. She’s too addictive, she knows it. We need to be fed some Celine stuff.

For all those who complain about the setlist, I understand you, but what we loved ther tonight was exceptional! I didn't mind for a moment about the setlist. I enjoyed every single song she sang. And the crowd was on fire!

 

I had general admission and there were soooo many young people having the time of their life.

This is amazing to see the crowd reaction everywhere... at the concert...at the hotel.. in the subway...Celine is so popular in the UK. Love it!!!

Now you know how we fans feel after leaving Lv in June , Not sure what we are going to do for 3 months

OhmygAwd, Celine, I love you, but I’m never going to a festival of yours again!!! Or at least I’m gonna stay as far from the front as possible. I got body slammed during BYLM as someone decided to barrel their way through, I got sat on earlier in the day cos someone couldn’t find a place to sit, and there were shouting matches all day with this group behind me and security had to try and mediate. And the part that bugged me the most was they were quite proper fans, and knew all the words to FOMO.. made me sad and really quite took away from the concert :(

 

Anyhoo, that being said.. the best part was hearing TR and TT live!! Firsts for me. Her outfits were amazing. That last bit, sitting on the ground in that gown doing Imagine.. beautiful. And, the sunset was gorgeous!!! Took the pic during FOMO...

Nope. It was Vegas, but with “The Reason” and “Think Twice” thrown back in. She performed “Imagine” instead of “Over The Rainbow.”

The new show will be in September. Can't put two new shows together within 2.5 months. :D

If she had performed any other brand new songs off the Courage album tonight, then the majority of the forum would have wound up complaining that she dropped another new song “this way” and “we need the studio version now”! LOL I think the set list was perfectly fine. And like a couple people have said...there is nothing boring about being at a Celine concert live and in person. You get sucked in and are mesmerized regardless of what song she is singing. I think the vast majority had the time of their lives at Hyde Park. Including Celine herself. ❤️

Absolutely agree!!! It’s been a long wait, but Courage really is finally coming this Fall and I’m pretty confident it’ll be nothing short of amazing! :)

I just love the fact that there’s the arms into the audience and the b stage. I happen just to be a few rows up from where the B stage will be on the floor. So I’ll get some up close shots of Queen!!!
