She looked stunning all around. The rainbow outfits, the updo, the makeup... so regal. She looked like the queen that she is.

What a night!!! I’m shattered, slightly burnt, a wee bit hungover but also so bloody lucky and privileged to have been there with some incredible members of this forum...

 

A huge thanks again to Stevo, you are a legend!!!!

 

It was amazing to see FOMO live, my favourite song TTWII, loved how she changed up PQTME slightly, but loved imagine... and the through back crowd shots from a new day when she performed WAWW, I got serious goosebumps and we even appeared on the screen!!!!

 

Also can’t believe Sam Smith was only a few rows behind us!!!!

 

I’m still on such a high :)

Looks like it was am amazing show!! My fave dresses are the yellow and green ones. But I adore those colors. The blue was my least fave but totally Celine so who cares lol. I'm not surprised by the bun. This was an outdoor event and it was Hoootttt!! Imagine how hot it would be to wear her hair down!

 

As far as the set list, I'm not surprised and I totally called that lol. IF the world tour is truly something new and spectacular it would make sense that this mimicked Vegas with some minor changes as it would be really hard to rehearse and prepare 2 entirely different shows at the same time. That said, even if it was Vegas on wheels her vocals were absolutely astounding!! Such a good performance altogether.

 

Since we didn't get WFTM here I wonder if that throwback a week or so ago means we'll it'll be in the tour?? She did say something about putting something spectacular for the fans. 💖💖

If her social media people are listening then this could happen ...

 

Not sure how difficult a song it is to sing (they’re all hard!) but if she can still do TT and TR then she should be able to tackle this one too!

 

I just hope it makes it to UK and Europe and not just US. It’s a universally loved song!

No! I’d just stopped filming at that point. She was very graceful though! It was the first time I’d seen her do something like this.

 

There were a few wardrobe issues where she missed the start of a line because she was messing with dresses... but nothing fazes her and she is still a goddess, even when she’s human !

I usually hate the “bun” but it just worked last night. It suited her well. Also I’ve been a huge critic of Pepe’s styling style, when he first took over from Law he seemed super inferior but I think he just needed that learning curve and seems to growing super well into the job, has done a great job the last few weeks.

 

Also, lazy setlist but Celine’s voice was fire last night, even if you go listen to the first few opening lines of TPOL, it sounds like the album version that’s how much clarity there was, amazing!

Just came back from the hotel. I saw her in the front and in the back entrance. Had a great view in the front.

I'm on such a Céline high, you have no idea ❤

Only someone that wasn’t there could complain about the set list. What a night, what a night! A true legend

 

It’s not the setlist that makes the show, it’s the energy. The reason Vegas was so boring is bc it was “the same song, one night after the other” in the same room, with the same *type* of people (tourists).

 

Hyde Park is a gleaming example of how the AUDIENCE can make the show better. Simply by singing along, they are giving the performer more energy and easing their nerves. Suddenly, tired, old songs seems new and refreshing. At seated concerts, people are more reserved and less likely to give energy back to the performer, in which case the performance (in the case of Vegas) becomes stale to fans and tedious to the performer..

 

After watching the videos from last night, I wish I would have paid an arm and a leg to see the BST concert, rather than her final leg in Vegas. The costumes, the festival setting, THE SETLIST, the fans singing in the subway... it’s very touching

And her vocals were in top shape! I also like the little changes in Kiss where celine is dancing.. Cute! And i also like her performance of Purple Rain especially the part where celine mimicking the electric guitar.. It's just so perfect

I’m excited to see one of the first shows after her long break of rest in the humid Montreal Canada! Hopefully, Rest plus humidity = amazing vocals!

I fear she may go back to vegas for a while. I hope and pray she does straight to Montreal and avoida vegas like the plague... still funny to me that she didnt book a date on the tour there lmao

I love coming here after a performance to see the reaction of those who were there. From the videos I saw last night it was an epic show and I enjoyed seeing the crowd singing with her and living their best moments.

Believe me if it made sense and the money would be easy to make by doing a Courage show in Vegas the. Her team would’ve booked it. I think after 15 years they might view that risky for selling it out it’s not 4,000 seats it would be an entire arena after just singing there for 15 years.

True, however, if Celine can do 4 shows in London for 60,000 people total and then two years later do it again... but its a different situation

 

However, i do believe Celines demand now is undying. She could go back in 2 months and do a stadium show in London and i believe it would sell well. Hoping this show gives her the incentive to do stadium shows all over Europe, as her demand now compared to 2008 is evident
