Does anybody know what Hydeaway means? I was checking the ticket updates on BST app, and I see there is Golden Circle and Golden Circle Hydeaway update. What's the difference?

It’s Claire first, then two new acts are on before Josh and then Celine.

 

If it’s final, it showed Celine onstage at 8.20pm

Those other acts may be on the smaller stages. The only other day showing is Day 2 - also only 3 Acts on the main stage with the opening one only getting 35 min.

I think I’m going to arrive just in time for Josh, certainly not standing all afternoon in Hyde Park with no decent entertainment on. Really getting hyped up for this now, hoping for some surprises

They’re adding the main stage acts for all days. Streisand’s date is full now with her and the two other main stage acts. They’ll probably finish the main stage for the other two days and then go back and add the smaller stages in the gen admission area after that.

I’ve been paying attention to the weather too cuz the news over here is that there’s a massive heat wave striking Europe. Apparently, it’s not supposed to hit London though. Fingers crossed!

 

Am disappointed Claire will only be on for 30 mins. I was hoping to hear her do a lot of tracks off of her solo album. I’m also disappointed in the almost 2 and a half hour wait between her and Josh. There will probably be an act during that time on the smaller stage but no way I’m leaving my (hopefully) prime slot right up front.

True - but that doesn’t mean they’ll be on the main stage. There are 3 stages at BST. The Great Oak Stage where the big acts perform (diamond circle is right up front of that stage). Then they have the Summerstage and Barclaycard Stage in the general admission area where the lesser known acts usually perform.

Possibly, however i cannot imagine such a huge gap.. josh to Celine is only 50 minutes, so they NEED something in between josh and claire to break it up.

 

More worried about people ending up with sunstroke and dehydration due to the heatwave over in Europe right now, according to the Met office even scotland (notoriously cold) has temps of 27 degrees today

Ive heard the Sky Arts recap for the weekend is extremely poor and mostly shows 1 song per headliner, so was just hoping someone would record something lol

I’m hoping to be able to record some of it - it all depends on how long my battery lasts. I have a couple of usb chargers I can bring with me but still...it’s going to be a 10 hour day. I’ll probably just hold out for new/rare songs and record those.

 

Also, they’ve updated the app now so that if you click the “line up” tab, the artists are there; however, the picture for Claire Richards is....um, definitely not Claire. Lol
