Now that it’s 3 days until the event, I have to say I’m disappointed. Not in the lack of other acts but more in the timing. If you’re just going to have Claire and Josh, why not let them do longer sets? Josh could easily do 90+ min from his many albums. Claire could easily do 60-75 just by singing her album and some steps songs. Am kinda dreading the stand around from 1pm-4:45 with no music. Especially since the weather now appears to have jumped from 70 degrees to 80! I know I’ll be excited once the music gets going...it’s just gonna be a long wait.

You’ll hear music from smaller stages, they also, (from what i hear) play like radio music i guess...? So it wont be SILENT

Ah - interesting. Form the map though, it looks like the smaller stages are far away from the Great Oak Stage (main stage) so I wonder if I’ll be able to hear anything. I’ll find out in only 3 days!

HAHA!!! If only. I can’t drink alcohol anymore - intestinal issues - my body can no longer process it. Have to be stone cold sober all day.

Festivals from my experience are LOUD, so you’ll probably still hear music from the other stage, there are still stalls you can visit during, almost anywhere in Diamond is a good spot, but I understand if you dont want to move. They *do* infact play radio music as well, so it wont be too bad. Not to mention festival performance times usually spill over whats actually presented. Good thing is because Claire, Josh and Celine are close, the momentum wont stop, there will be a nice build up to Celines set :)

Apparently its audio is live played on a British radio station, however, there is a recap show per weekend on a network called Sky Arts, which is very poor apparently, they show one song per headliner, most of it is about the other things revolving around the festival

From what I'm reading here it seems they overhaul it 3 times a day?!

 

Seems BST is a bit disorganized, no?

It's a bit strange to me that they're still booking acts so close to the shows (see my post about Fouzia above; she just got confirmation yesterday that she's performing on the 7th!)

Ha! Could you imagine? 10 hours of nothing but Celine!! I’d certainly be entertained. She can just start with Unison album and sing every track followed by all her other English albums - throw in a few of the French songs in between.

Even though its not sold out, cant see it being less than 40,000. We know for a fact she can clear that, the factor of it being a festival does reduce numbers willing to attend, but i guarentee there are at least 40,000 ready to be there. If it is, ill be extremely shocked and concerned. Kylie only actually had 53,000, not the full 65,000 available, and sold 46,000. Im hoping Celine can pull off the same

Well i dont think you can enter at 12? I dont know. But primary entry doesnt get you far up. You’ll be behind gold and diamon, so seeing Celine will be rather impossible. And yeah, if you do leave your spot, you will lose it
