And i think even in a lower key she could deliver such an incredible performance that I wouldn’t even notice. With age shes got more emotive and laps up a crowds response... ive noticed whenever shes got a crowd thats on fire, she gets fired up and delivers more powerful vocals in response

Part of why I’m so excited to see her in London as opposed to America is the chance to hear some of those songs that are popular over there live. I’ve NEVER been in her presence for Think Twice or Loved Me Back To Life or Misled. Only One Road...one of my all-time faves. If she did that on the 5th, I’d scream and shout like mad!!

Well asa defence she lips far less now than before.

 

And Shamrock: I looooove Robbie, and he's alright at singing the evergreens.

 

Celine needs to ditch the songs she can't sing anymore. It cracks me up when she looks surprised when she sings ABM end note. Yes shocked as she's not sung it haha x come in just sing the ones you can. It's a bit naughty really as she lips so much. Power of love is the worse !! Don't act surprised you're word pitch perfect. It's a tape. 😆

Hear hear! The string medly is the best thing she's done since... forever. I remember seeing in on the Tokyo show and everything stepped up several notches. I wish that a MAJOR part of her concerts were like this. The quality difference is huge! I can't understand that some don't like it. It's one of the rare occasions we can see Céline being a true artist and everything else fades in comparison and just seems to be her "delivering" something she has to do (The Reason from last year's tour being another exception - pure brilliance!!!! )

 

Imo the string section is one of the best parts of old show. The arrangements were spot on as was the vibe. I just never want to hear the prince medley or YTV ever again or see the Turquoise monstrosity ever again

That is one of her all time best performances. You could tell she was in kick #ss mode. I hope, hope, hope they do this at BST.

 

I also like how they are linking stuff on Instagram to links to download and stream the song- with FOMO and now WFTM. At last they’ve caught up with the world a bit.

It was great to hear LIAWN in 2017 but for me it was one of those songs that ain’t that great live.

 

The song could have worked great had she taken its subject matter more seriously and given it respect. Grabbing one’s crotch and gyrating one’s hips while singing about a woman being murdered while in an abusive relationship is tasteless beyond words. No wonder the audience felt disconnected to the song and performance.
