I’ve been feeling more nervous as this is getting closer, that we are definitely guaranteed to get the Vegas setlist with a couple of songs possibly swapped out to include TT etc due to the fact that I can’t see where she’s gonna find time to rehearse a totally new one off show, and remember the Jamaica Jazz and Blues festival headline performance was the Vegas setlist at that time with just the inclusion of THLAL (if I’m not mistaken).

 

However, with all that said, I’m beginning to come round to this idea and gonna just embrace it. After all, I never make it to LV unfortunately so it will still be new to me and not to forget next year (hopefully) on the Courage World Tour we get an all new show so there’s that.

I feel similar - I didn’t go back to Vegas after 2011 so I didn’t really get to experience the latest set list other than YouTube a few times which just isn’t the same thing as being there. I’d be shocked if they didn’t do mostly the same songs but in a different order - probably not do the string section medley, add Josh and/or Claire in for a duet or two and possibly try out one or two new songs from Courage to test fan reaction. There’s always the possibility that she also invites a special British guest to duet with her - you never know! At this point, I’m mainly just praying for decent weather!

Yeah I’m also praying for decent weather cos it’s not been much of a summer so far. I don’t need scorching hot but we need it to be dry at least. Fingers crossed!

Probably will be the Vegas show without the string medley and the prince medley. Maybe FOMO and another courage song with The Prayer and TT, maybe OOR or TR if we’re lucky but the vibe will be so different i dont care lol

hey guys, does anyone know if BST are offering their ticket upgrade programme again this year? I could only afford gold when tickets first came out, but would be keen to upgrade now that i'm a couple of pay checks in!!

same here - I bought Gold thinking Diamond was a bit extravagant and now regret it . . . want to shine bright like a diamond ;)

As long as the string section thing is gone i'll be happy, Vegas set list or no set list, and i hope there is a complete new wardrobe....the gold bull fighter look has never done it for me!

 

Random dream i had last night though was that all of 'Steps' were there (Claire Richards former band) they were preforming on the back of a truck and Selena Gomez turned up for a TTWIT duet and couldn't hit the notes...........it was f'ing bizzarre lol

Imo the string section is one of the best parts of old show. The arrangements were spot on as was the vibe. I just never want to hear the prince medley or YTV ever again or see the Turquoise monstrosity ever again

Does anyone know if there is a press schedule for the London trip? I work right beside the BBC so if i can pop out on my lunch break to say hello/stand outside for hours while she makes an entrance i'd be glad to know!!

Curious, I don’t know if this has been previously noted or mentioned on the other pages or if it’s confirmed and I’m just oblivious hahaha! BUT.. when googling Celines name tonight, under “events” I was just browsing her tour dates when I see “BST 7th JULY” confused I clicked on it and it said “Barbara Streisand” .... maybe this is just because she is connected to Céline in some way but imagine if Céline comes out to perform Tell Him with her for old times sake!

My e-tickets for both Celine and Barbra finally came through this morning. I can finally relax! It also mentions that the official BST app will be updated by June 20th with schedules, etc. Looking forward to finally getting some more information!

I’m seeing quite a few different range of tickets for sale already online and it seems there are more Celine tickets for sale currently than any other headliner for that entire festival.

 

I might risk it till the day before and then buy one at a discount price from someone who can’t make it and atleast by then I will also know if the weather is gonna be rubbish or not and if it is I won’t bother... love a gamble me! :P

Don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t mind seeing it... but at the same time I’m not a festival fan and it’s pretty expensive for what it is, the environment, the crowd, sound quality etc.

 

And if I don’t go I won’t be overly bothered I will just get from row for next year ;)

I can watch it on sky arts on my sofa and eat, drink what I want and it don’t cost me a penny and I don’t have to queue for the toilet or bar lol.

I actually found the tix to be quite cheap. My ticket for Celine and 2 tickets for Barbra for BST combined cost me less than 2 tickets to see Celine in NYC!

Haha - I’m just sayin that the festival ticket price is much cheaper than seeing her on tour (at least in the states - or perhaps it’s just NYC specific.

Well I don't exactly find 370 Euros (for a Diamond ticket) cheap..... :unsure:

Especially if you can still end up standing at the 15th row or further.

My NYC tickets were $900 each. I found 299 pounds/roughly $400 per ticket to be cheap comparatively!
