Imo an orchestra is just a band which contains numerous members of each section of an orchestra

I feel the same way! I saw on their FB page they’ve responded to people asking about tickets that they should receive them about 2 weeks before the event. I’m impatient though - I want them in my hands!!

 

Also, the official BST Hyde Park app now has the 2019 guests listed and has a note saying that it will be updated with full info by June 20th. Hoping that means we’ll be getting more info about any other supporting acts soon.

How she talks about the Hyde Park Concert in this clip really makes me wish we had a DVD of it. But most likely we wont since they probaly are gonna reales this booring Vegas version instead. But come on! She says the Hyde Park will look like nothing we've ever seen from her and really special for the fasn - why can't we have it on DVD then! :wub:

She’s actually talking about the Courage world tour when she says something like we’ve never seen before. Still...am expecting that this being her first show after Vegas...she’s not going to recreate the Vegas show at BST. I’m expecting it to be different, epic, hopefully trying out some of her new material.

 

She again states that the album will be out in November so that must be the release date. She sounded unsure when she mentioned it in April. But it sounds as if they still don’t know exactly what songs to put on it. Perhaps she’ll try a couple of them at BST and see which ones the audience responds to?

She's obviously going to be pretty busy this month. I don't think there's going to be a lot of time left to rehearse for BST. That means not many setlist changes.

 

I do hope and pray there'll be different outfits. If I never see that damn gold suit again it'll be too soon 😂

Id rather the gold suit than the christmas tree / the grinch / pepto bismal dress with the space boots lol!

True. As far as the set list goes, I’m expecting more of the order to be changed. Her show will most definitely feature MHWGO, POL, IACBTMN, PQTME, BYLM, ABM, IA, RDMH, LCMM, TT, BATB, TTWII. None of those will need to be rehearsed.

 

I doubt she’ll bring along the Prince medley or the string section. Since they’ve recently re-recorded a “live” TLYM that will probably be there, along with Ashes and FOMO. (Which would make 3 more that won’t need to be rehearsed.) But, like the millennium concert, she’s got more time for this one-night only concert. She could feasibly do up to a 2 1/2 hour show. I’d expect some new songs from the album as well as a duet or two with Josh. Perhaps a surprise guest? She might only have to prepare 6-7 new songs. She’s Celine freaking Dion - she can make the time for that. :-)

Although I’m happy to finally have a full version of something new, be it live instead of studio, and I appreciate how they decided to go with this timing to pretty much celebrate the end of Vegas and the dawn of the new chapter, I can’t help feeling a bit cheated cos I was so sure the Hyde Park audience would be the first to experience something totally new and now I’m a bit worried that this is all we’ll get. As someone else said in a previous post, I can’t imagine where they could fit in too many rehearsals now before BST as by all accounts she has a pretty full calendar and I’m guessing the band will be going home to Montreal for a break before heading to UK/Europe.

 

Someone said she stayed at Colosseum until 3am after Wednesday’s show to rehearse for BST but my guess was that it was probably just to rehearse FOMO and SOTR.

 

I would just be grateful, I guess, for even one more new song to be premiered there so fingers crossed it happens.

It's also clear that she can't change the whole setlist which is something that will be done for the new tour. She has to keep some surprises for September! :D

I definitely hope so, but remember that the 2013 Tour was mostly the same as Une Seule Fois, so anything is possible... :innocent:

nop there's no meet and greet vip tix at all

u can only try ur luck before and after the show if u know where ... also u can email Celine's team but the chances r slim too

This London Concert is a one time event and the tickets are already sold, so she can really risk it and stop playing it safe, and offer an upbeat, energetic show with mostly uptempo songs she never or rarely performed, and less ballads, drama and class. I don’t mind some ballads, but please no orchestral arrangements and more rockn roll! Like for TPOL: make it as rock as possible and blow the audience away! And then give us a DVD of that, because it would be rare and unprecedented. And that’s what I as a fan want!

Oh and please, if I hear RDMH and LCMM one more time I’m gonna scream. I can’t stand these songs anymore. It’s awful that she thinks she must finish each concert with these. And the horrible medley is even worse.

 

RDMH was cool in Vegas during AND because they brought the song to a whole new level by the visuals: sexy Celine, great choreography. The visuals were so enjoyable that the song itself was quite good in the show. But what happened with it afterwards was just terrible.
