The BST show really is Celine's perfect chance to perform some lesser known songs and album tracks. Vegas has finished, the tour hasn't started yet and she doesn't have a new album to promote just now. Realistically she can sing anything she wants!

 

I actually think it isn't.... because most of the attendees are "general" fans who really want to hear her biggest hits.

So if anything, I wouldn't be surprised BST would be a greatest hits show with a couple of new songs. Nothing more, nothing less.

I’m probably in the minority. I haven’t been back to Vegas since 2011 so I never saw the show as it was at the end. I won’t be terribly disappointed if it’s just that. I would be surprised though.

Anyone went to BST the years before?!

 

How strict are they with the camera policy?!

Thinking to bring one like I do with all the shows, but since this is all standing not sure if I would take the risk to get out of line and get my camera taken.

Anyone went to BST the years before?!

 

How strict are they with the camera policy?!

Thinking to bring one like I do with all the shows, but since this is all standing not sure if I would take the risk to get out of line and get my camera taken.

 

It's unlikely they could get to you in a crowd of 65,000! It'd be pretty hard to police a no camera policy.

I think he's talking about an actual camera - not a phone camera. Yes, I believe that, as you go through security, you're not allowed food, drinks, cameras, chairs, large bags, etc.

Not sure how security is at this event before entrance.

But why then do they keep saying plus more to be announced and it’s not just with Celine’s show. Apparently according to BST the only line up that’s completed is Florence and the Machine the following weekend.

 

It seems extremely poorly organised if you ask me!

It’s just a standard marketing line. It’s 10 days before the event. Artists are booked long in advance. It would be very difficult to find someone available to fly to London. I’m surprised they haven’t booked smaller local acts for the smaller stages. Maybe when they update the app, we’ll see some of those.

 

The main stage will more than likely just be Claire and Josh. Both could do 90 min sets and I’m still gonna call that Celine will treat this like a millennium concert and do a 2 and a half hour set. That’s 5 and a half hours of music with time in between to change over from act to act. That seems reasonable.

I could see them doing a duet or two with her as a surprise guest appearance for sure. I doubt they’d do their own standalone sets though.

Not yet. I’m hoping we get info at midnight London time with an updated app. Not holding my breath though.

Not a chance, probably will be not till mid day at least before they update... if they even do it tomorrow

I wonder if they will be filming this show for a DVD special as well, like they did with the others , its been awhile since we've had one

Sky arts usually hold a highlights show after each weekend, however they’re usually rather disappointing. Mostly only showing one or two full performances per headliner

Someone has posted screen shots of what looks to be a possible official list of all artists and dates on the BST Facebook page in the comments of their most recent post. No times are listed though.

The app has updated the store with placeholders for each artist - no actual merchandise yet. Little by little the changes are comin’...

Any ideas what hotel she might stay? It would be nice to welcome her at the hotel after the concert, like when she is in Paris :)
